Read onlyWe have an outrageous adjustment where USPS change the dims from 22 in. x 18 in. x 3 in. and 8.5 oz, to 21.75 in. x 20.25 in. x 19.0 in and because of that a dimensional weight of 51 lbs. We opened a case with Seller Support and they just explain why carriers make adjustments and don't address that we are trying to appeal the grossly incorrect adjustment which caused an adjustment of $86.34 on a $10.89 order.
This order was for a poster that is rolled and is 24" long x 2" diameter. We put it in a 25" triangular box and that put that box diagonally in a 22" x 18" x 3" poly bag. We send more than a of these every week and do not have issues. It can be verified by seeing our order history and verifying the dimensions entered on the orders for the shipping labels.
Amazon should provide sellers a way to dispute USPS adjustments when Amazon Buy Shipping is used. I've tried appealing directly with USPS before and they refer us back to Amazon to file the appeal. There should be a dispute ID provided to us that isn't.
Seller Support refused to escalate the case and gave me the "However, after careful consideration, we came to the conclusion that we have already exhausted all available options." message.
@KJ_AmazonI see you've responded to similar threads about this issue and I was unable to add to those because the threads are closed. Can you please look into this? Case ID: 15136351361
