I need help getting Amazon to release my five million dollars worth of inventory when I'm one of the top US sellers.
I’ve been selling on the Amazon platform since 2016 – when out of the blue Amazon decided to shut down my account.
Amazon seems extremely determined to keep me out – raising a new issue, every time I resolve the initial issue they raised.
I can’t understand why and am extremely bothered by the unfairness of it all. I’ve been selling on the Amazon platform for eight years, averaging $50mm in annual sales, and always taking extreme care in ensuring compliance.
It’s not for naught that I achieved so much in the last eight years. I would obviously never have made it so far had I not ensured compliance.
I spent eight years building my business with much sweat and toil, in order to support my family, my wife, and children.
Amazon accused my supplier of being “unverifiable - regarding ONE single ASIN I sold – despite the fact that I shared chain invoices issued directly from the brand owners and/or major national wholesalers.
Worse yet, Amazon never even contacted my supplier for confirmation. How can they be sure that my goods are “unverifiable”, when they didn’t even pick up the phone to my supplier?!?!
How can they just accuse me like this and not even take a look at my information? Is this how you treat a longtime seller?
Is all my hard work over the last eight years for naught? Is my payment for being a trusted partner all these years, outstanding loans and seized inventory? I have several loans and LOC’s that need to be paid off, suppliers’ who I need to pay… Is this the way it all ends?
I believe Amazon needs to be held accountable. You cannot just lock down a business over concerns of one ASIN. There needs to be some context before making such a decision. And clearly, no context was applied to my case.

I see no mention of a LOA. That's likely what Amazon is looking for.
Curious as to how this plays out. Any updates?

please keep those of us following, updated. The reasons this all happens needs to be well documented, and the process to get back to normal does too.
What kind of products are you selling? Is it only one item or is it across the board with your listings? And is anyone else selling them?
The problem is that they have low level people responding to your mission critical responses. They aren't able to judge a proper LOA, or identify a valid supplier invoice. They just aren't capable of following an official supply chain. In their eyes, if you don't make it yourself like granny making quilts, then it is fake, or unverifiable.
I have been through what you are going through more than once. It cost me millions in lost sales, all for nothing. I feel for you, Brother. Total nightmare. In the end after weeks of running in circles and jumping through idiot hoops, I had to hire one of the outside consultants. Even then, with their experience and expert responses, we did not achieve success until a last resort Hail Mary, "Jeff Bomb" as they called it, pleading email to the office of the president. I had lost nearly all hope at that point, and then out of the blue I got a magic wand waived over it all from that Hail Mary. Totally insane that this is what it took to address the problem when I, like you, had previously summited more legit paperwork that I even knew I could round up. They just aren't capable of knowing what they are looking at.
My advice is to hire one of the experienced consultants immediately. The more time you spend on it on your own the more time and money will be lost. The consultants are expensive, but in the end, they will save you. Good luck.
Amazon is the worst & is becoming completely unusable. Instead of ‘artificial intelligence’ they rely on ‘verifiable stupidity’. The ‘seller support’ group is an overseas contract outfit hiring literally anyone without training or basic intelligence. Their wages are pitiful, so they just don’t care. If you are a smart guy, you’ll abandon Amazon & go with someone else in the Wild West of online business.
Could you pls share the details of the suspension notification with blocked reason? Maybe I can give some advices cuz we experience before.
I read your post, and it was like I was reading about myself. Deactivated and 146 products held since September 16th, due to 1 ASIN information request. No related products. All valid documentation. I have spent dozens of hours compiling documents every which way, just to receive generic emails that provide zero information or recourse. I am out 40K and counting. I can't comprehend that number being 5 million.
Continuously accusing a business of ambiguous bad behavior, while not acknowledging any of the documentation being sent, and shutting everything down, over 1 product, is completely, completely unacceptable.
I too was the guy crossing every t, dotting every i for years. Why? No one cares and it doesn't matter. Amazon has complete control, and we have zero recourse for anything they decide to do. I used to see posts about people getting screwed and always assumed it was user error. They did SOMETHING wrong. If you are reading this and still think "as long as I follow the rules, I will be ok"...good luck to you. The writing has been on the wall forever.
You are at the mercy of a company, which if anything goes wrong, will not respond to your inquiries legibly, will not care about anything you send and will take away your business and just keep ALL of your inventory at the snap of a finger. No. One. Cares. You can't talk to anyone about it. That's the reality. If I got my account back today, I would never go back to doing what I was doing or trust this company with my money or inventory.
