I have already listed 6 books without issues. Now While trying to list a new book (7th book) it gives me error that the ASIN conflicts with another product in amazon catalogue which is a Women's Apparel.. I tried listing by using "Add products via upload" too ..and same.. it asks me to either change my product category (abis books)and select appropriate one or match binding details to my product. Surprisingly it does not let me select "Paperback or perfect paperback or any of the more than 10 binding options related to "books" stating it is for "apparel". I don't know how an "apparel" can have "textbook or paperback" binding. Anyways basically it is saying I can't list a "BOOK" because the ASIN is conflicting with an "APPAREL" already in amazon catalogue.

I contacted support and they don't understand the problem. They just say make corrections. they also suggested using "add via upload" option which is giving the same error.

Can anyone help?

I want to understand Keyword Technics in Amazon

I am trying to list a book with a valid ISBN. However, I am hitting an error because a completely unrelated book is using the ISBN. I have created a case 10174715182 and provided photographs of the book with the ISBN and screenshot of the book data page on the ISBN website.

There have been more than 10 messages back and forth on the case thread but it isn't going anywhere. I keep getting asked for the same information again and again.

Can a moderator please intervene?
