I just started selling used books on Amazon. I've noticed the selling fees are very high though.

Some used books selling fees are $4.23-$4.67, and these books are marked to sell for around $4.99-$5.50.

How is anybody making money out of selling used books?

How do we get permission to sell used books when they are books that have been on my bookshelf....receipts not available. How are we to get permission to sell the "brands"? I see other people asking this question....but I cannot view any replies to their questions. It would be helpful to see the replies to the same question as mine. Very confusing.

Do you have as much trouble as I do when trying to list and price a book in 'new' condition when the only other books on offer are used? Amazon's AI does not know how to allow you to price them. They CONSTANTLY say they are overpriced and want me to lower it to half of what the used books are going for. They want less money than I could get just calling it 'like new'. Do you have the same trouble?
