Ever wanted to sell a product and make it available for those who use FSA/HSA accounts? FSA/HSA accounts stand for Flexible Spending Account / Health Savings Account, and are tax-advantaged financial accounts that allow people to set aside a portion of their earnings to pay for qualified medical expenses. Customers can register their FSA/HSA cards in our online store and use them like a debit card to buy FSA/HSA eligible products.
For a product to be FSA/HSA eligible, it must fit within the guidelines provided by the IRS (508C IRS Code Section 213(d)) and be identified by the Special Interest Group for Inventory Standards (SIGIS) that interprets these IRS guidelines.
If you would like to add or remove a product from being FSA/HSA eligible, we will submit the request to SIGIS on your behalf. Follow the steps mentioned in the About FSA/HSA accounts and product eligibility page. You’ll want to confirm you’ve reviewed the SIGIS eligible product list criteria and that the products meeting the specified guidelines, including the correct data and UPC on Amazon. You will submit a product request form with a list of the products and catalog information that you want to add or remove as FSA/HSA eligible. We want to make sure to verify the product is:
- Is on the SIGIS eligible product list
