Read onlyHello all, My OTDR is still being affected even though orders have OTDR Protection. My OTDR is showing as 78% the past 14 days when it should really be about 90% because several of the orders I bought shipping through Veeqo and they display the OTDR Protection badge.
Any help here??
The report is currently for :
Promised Delivery Date : Aug 20, 2024 - Sep 2, 2024
In my post here, I explain why the OTDR badge means absolutely nothing.
any solution yet? I have the same issue
Hello @Seller_Mklla9enn2LBP,
For ODTR I have some help pages that may provide some good information: Frequently asked questions about on-time delivery rate (OTDR) and another for Veeqo, and Amazon Buy Shipping protections.
Also please see: Shipping Settings Automation.
So for an explanation of some of what you see on your report:
On the OTDR report, you will see the “Deliver by” date without promise extensions, this is calculated using the Handling Time and Transit Time you have configured on your account. You can use this report to see which of your shipments arrived after the date you configured in your account by looking at the ones with on-time delivery without promise extensions.
If your shipment arrives after the promised delivery date, it will count as a late delivery and will impact your on-time delivery rate (OTDR), unless you have Automated Handling Time (AHT) enabled on your account. The shipped item is assigned to a Shipping Template with Shipping Settings Automation (SSA) enabled, and you shipped using an "OTDR Protected" label from Amazon Buy Shipping. Using all three of these tools together should ensure your package is delivered on time. If it doesn't, your OTDR won't be negatively impacted because Amazon made calculations on your behalf that affect OTDR.
This information is very specific in what is required to assure your account has OTDR protection.
I hope this will also benefit @Seller_etLqZbFOJxDB7, @Seller_r9wMm8LrE5iKj, @Seller_OvL8C4BJWiuS9, @Seller_bUS47wleweJ65 and @Seller_0xdtD36hDLHBC.
If you would like any additional information, please let me know, including some specific's from your account. Such as an order ID or a related case ID if you have raised this with another team.
Thank you for reaching out on the forums. The forums community and I are here to support you.

Hi,
I have been having the same issue and opened many tickets and I finally got this answer this morning.
Amazon Reply:
Upon my investigation, the issue with orders showing defects even after using all three tools, and it has now been resolved. Please note that some orders may still appear as defective for the time being, but any orders, after August/27/2024, using all three tools (AHT, SSA, B/S) will no longer show as defects.
The orders ID's as you mentioned were affected because the orders are before the August/27. While you do not need to take any action on the account at this moment, I advise you to maintain a close eye on the metric for the following 2-3 weeks.
Additionally, I would like to bring to your notice that the scores once captured cannot be altered/updated.
We'll see if this is true.
Hello @Seller_Mklla9enn2LBP,
I hear what you are saying about the OTDR protection and seeing orders with protection showing on your OTDR report and affecting the %.
Question? Do you have any Case ID's relevant to this issue? I would be very interested in the results of a deeper dive on your account. I understand that if you do open a case, that team has the ability to review in detail each order that had the OTDR protection and verify if there may have been a reporting issue.
As discussed prior: You need to use all 3 tools as follows:
Please review this help page for detail information: Frequently asked questions about on-time delivery rate (OTDR)
Received independent confirmation of erroneous OTDR defects.
Amazon response:
"I understand you are reaching out to us about the On-Time Delivery Rate metric.
Our team has reviewed the information and concluded that our tech team has investigated the issue with orders showing defects even after using all three tools, and it has now been resolved.
Please note that some orders may still appear as defective for the time being, but any orders, after 8/27, using all three tools (AHT, SSA, B/S) will no longer show as defects.
So it's true that orders after August 27th that are fulfilled using three tools will not impact the metrics."
Thank you @Seller_etLqZbFOJxDB7 for sharing one of your case responses with a similar issue.
I believe, as this is a new option offered that is tracking in your shipping performance area, there will be a learning curve for All of us. Also, there may be some technical reporting modifications that might be needed from time to time to perfect this new option.
I truly appreciate all the information and input from the Forum members! I am sure everyone will begin to understand this feature and how to benefit from it.
I look forward to your responses. Thank you for reaching out on the forums.

I’m going through this same thing. Mine has went down to a 87 percent and now I can’t even take my money out early. When I was at a 98 it was all good. They keep telling me it don’t accept you but that’s a
lie.
If you turn one AHT your are protected, that is part of the deal
I don't understand why everyone is continually complaining about consistently low OTD metrics. When the new metric guidelines kicked in about a month ago, my OTD dropped from 100% to 92% overnight. I was one of the complainers too!!
Since then I automated all of my handling times and only buy my shipping through Amazon. My metric has steadily been climbing in the weeks since, and today I'm at 100%!
I'm not bragging by any means, but I am saying that it seems to me that if you follow their directions exactly as they lay them out, then you'll see positive results.
Also, I always ship my items early. I ship 30-50 packages daily. I pack-and-ship them the night before USPS picks them up the next morning, and sometimes on Saturday depending on the workload. None of that seems to have a negative effect on my metrics.
Maybe you continually have issues because you haven't properly and/or correctly adjusted your handling times? I have no idea, but just wanted to share my personal experience.
follow your own advice pal!
