Prime Day Prep: Stay Diligent with your Upcoming Deals

Hello all,

With Prime Day 2024 not too far away, it’s important to understand how to submit Deals for events, and how to stay on top of your upcoming deals to take any necessary action!

To submit a Deal:

  1. On the Deals dashboard, check Upcoming Events to see the events that are open for Deals submissions. Events include Prime Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and others.
  2. Select the desired event in the Schedule box as part of the Deal. You can submit Deals for multiple event and non-event weeks.

Then, continue monitoring your Upcoming Deals as we approach the event to ensure they continue to meet the eligibility requirements.

If any scheduled deals become suppressed, you will need to take action to update the deal appropriately via the ‘Needs Attention’ section of the Deals Dashboard.

One best practice is to avoid making changes to ASINs, particularly for Deals in Upcoming status, including:

  • Pricing Edits: If you lower the price on a participating ASIN(s), you may also be required to lower the Deal price for the same ASIN(s) to avoid Deal suppression.
  • Delete or Close Listings: Do not change the status of any ASIN(s) participating in Deals to Closed within the Manage Inventory page. Doing so will cancel any Deal currently scheduled for that ASIN. Canceled Deals cannot be reactivated.
  • Create new child ASINs: For Deals that include variations, avoid creating or assigning new child ASINs to the variation family after the Deal has been submitted. Doing so will result in the existing Deal to revalidate with the new child ASINs which will cause the Deal to become suppressed or canceled.

To help navigate any issues with your deals, please see these resources for troubleshooting suppressed and active deals.

Hopefully this post, along with our Prime Day Preparation Checklist and the Tips from Amazon Ads are helping you get ready to offer some great deals! Please let us know what deals are you planning for? Or what other tips and tricks you’ve found to enhance your deals during high-traffic events?

We have suffered a malicious attack from non-verified purchase (NON-VP) bad reviews! We need your help to save our product and listings.

Today, we received 13 non-verified purchase malicious reviews in one day. We have provided enough evidence to Amazon, but they still haven't helped us resolve the issue. These reviews are from new accounts that write malicious comments and give our product 1-star ratings to lower our rating. This has negatively influenced our product and the Amazon platform. We hope Amazon can investigate this and help honest sellers.

I feel very worried and upset. Please help me!

CASE ID: 15607473211

Seller support has refused to help me. They said customers can give reviews even if they have not purchased the product. How ridiculous! Okay, they can post reviews, but why give me 13 bad reviews on the same day?

I hoope Amazon can help me resolve this! I think many sellers have suffering this malicious attack before Prime Day!!
