I'm thankful for Amazon for so many reasons
Gratitude matters, so here goes...
I see and hear a lot of negativity about ecommerce and Amazon selling, but check this out:
I'm on a beautiful beach vacation right now with my wife of 30+ years. We have our five kids with us... three of whom are now married along with one grandchild. We have a great home for 10 people and a baby for 10 days in a beautiful location...all thanks to my Amazon biz.
We've been able to homeschool all of our kids since pre-school as my wife was able to stay home - and we've enjoyed travel and supporting great causes as a family - and my ONLY lNCOME has been from online streams... PRIMARILY AMAZON SELLING!
I'm grateful and just wanted to post that here.
My last job was a boring desk job that i was dying to escape - that was 22 years ago. I went from eBay to Amazon about 14 years ago and there's been no looking back since!
I'm not on the Amazon seller support forums often, but I plan to be here more often to help encourage and inspire others to GO FOR THEIR DREAMS!
The best days are ahead for Amazon sellers - I fully believe that and I'm living it every day.
Did you know that only about 20% of all retail in the US is online?
That number will soon be 25 then 30 then 35%... that's hundreds of billions in new spending coming our way. The game is just starting. Go for your dreams. Overcome the obstacles and make it happen!

As an 8-year moderator of these forums, I've been asked why top contributors invest their time and expertise here. Five years ago, I surveyed our top 10 contributors. They explained that they contribute to ensure all sellers provide the expected Amazon customer experience, which reflects on the entire seller community.
I want to recognize ALL sellers who frequently visit and contribute to these forums. Your time and expertise are greatly appreciated.

yeah I felt that way until I didn't.
I really hope you're not depending on Amazon for your livelihood because it can all come to a crashing end at any moment especially with the brands you're selling.
