Read onlyHello,
I been told and advertised multiple times to use AWD but not FBA because is cheaper and faster etc. I gave it a try and I am told by my freight operator that the inventory already sent and receive by the warehouse for 7+ days ago, but the AWD system still shows nothing. What is going on?
Thanks,
Yeah I don't think I'll be using them again either. Super crazy high duty fees and delayed shipment. Good luck with your issue hope you get it resolved. Hopefully it's just waiting to be processed.
Hi @Seller_1drsiTB5msDwV,
I'm sorry to read this and would be happy to reach out to the AWD team for more info. Can you share further details like a case ID or shipment number in question?

The only thing I would worry about is in time you wake up one day to a fee change that that is played off as just a fee penny just a dollar just this, then you multiple it by 5-6-7 figure quantity of units, inbound, out bound, transfer , and you can end up in a world of trouble.
Everything you do with your inventory, the second you are no longer in possession of it, thee cost to store it, move it from where house to warehouse, removal fees, disposal fees, and of course the new fees that can be added,
Also think about if the listing on amazon for any reason becomes. a victim to hijacking etc, then you have amazon holding it for longer investigating it, and charging you.
Check your reports page, you see revenue , and then what they wire you, you want more fees?
the cubic ft storage rates are only 10 percent of the story of having amazon as your warehousing partner too
not only that - when they will finally admit losing your inventory in AWD. after you will provide everything they ask - BOL, proof of ownwership etc - you will still not receive reimbursment, with a formal reason as follows (i copy paste their answer): Further, basis the section 4 in the policy Amazon Warehousing and Distribution terms and conditions we will not be able to provide any inventory related reimbursement as the inventory handling was not managed by Amazon prior to boxes arriving at the Amazon Distribution Center.
Mine was put on waiting for response from Amazon for over 2-3 weeks after it arrived to the destination.
It might be cheaper, but it's very difficult to track and manage the inventory. We switched from Amazon Freight and AWD to Forceget. They are highly digital and offer warehousing and 3PL services, all integrated into a single platform. It's easy to track everything, and invoicing is also handled within the platform. It's a great additional solution for managing our business more effectively.
