Hi everyone,
I'm looking for some advice or shared experiences regarding a denied SAFE-T claim for order 112-6602818-6190666.The item was returned in used and poor condition, missing original packaging, and clearly not in sellable condition.
It’s a high-value product, and per Amazon policy, returns should be in new and unused condition if not wanted.Amazon requested a photo of the return mailing label physically on the package, which I did provide — multiple times, Despite this,
I received a message saying the claim was denied because the requested information wasn’t provided. I respectfully disagreed and followed up with all the timestamps and image references, but the final decision remains.
Has anyone dealt with a similar situation where the evidence was submitted on time but still ignored? Is there a path to escalate this further?
Appreciate any guidance —
.Thanks,
Welcome to the club!
Sorry this is happening to you, too.

Start tagging MODs here. Hopefully, one of them will notice this post and will look into this for you.
We also had a SAFE-T Claim issue recently. Claim ID 10753-04481-7293222, Order ID 111-1931608-6883407. We used Buy Shipping, claims eligible, UPS Next Day. Unfortunately, due to bad weather the UPS delayed delivery by 2 days. Customer returned it with "Item arrived too late" reason. But he cut or factory seals on the box, opened it, and played with a product. It's now a used product. Everything is fine with it, but we can't sell it as new because it's a high-value product with all factory seals thorn and cut.
We submitted all photos and explanation to SAFE-T team and they began playing silly, requesting for "Photographic evidence of the damage or difference with the original item. Please note that images of packaging will not suffice." There was no damage, except damage to the packaging, which now makes the product not in the original brand new factory sealed condition. How am I supposed to prove that the seals were cut and the box open without sending the images of the packaging with said "damage"? Finally, after a couple of back and fourth, SAFE-T denied and closed the case, stating "We asked additional information or evidence on 27 Mar 2025, but we did not receive the requested details."
I noticed it's really a coin toss with SAFE-T team lately. There could be two identical cases filed and they would approve one almost immediately and give us a hard time on the other one. There is nobody to complain about this, except for poor MODs here who also don't have much authority over SAFE-T team, but they do help sometimes.
Perhaps, @KJ_Amazon can look into your and our case and assist?
Thanks!
Give up. A-Z is a bum deal. I shipped with Amazon shipping had proof I shipped on time right from Amazon seller account and the package was lost in the mail. Amazon did not want to see my proof and denied claim twice even when I had indisputable proof. I opened a BBB.com complaint over this.. Now I will never ship with Amazon shipping due to being burnt on a claim last week. Order ID: 111-4652019-2016219 You are better off filing a BBB complaint because support is trained to deny all claims. Set yourself up a shipping account at Pirateship and bypass this bum deal. The only reason I shipped with Amazon is because I believed they would take care of it but they automatically deny every single 100% of all claims and you have to fight for days and get nowhere.
Almost all seller faced this and no one have any solution for this situation. Even seller Forum MOD will not help you.
