Family, Who Understands? It’s been over 30 days since my shippment was delivered to Amazon, and they still haven’t shelved it for sale!
On October 24th, my two shipments were received at two Amazon warehouse on the East Coast that was not busy and had no backlog. Over 30 days later, they still haven't been received or shelved!
This delay is even longer than my sea freight transit time, which is completely unacceptable and utterly irresponsible. Despite numerous attempts to contact customer service, I have only received generic, unhelpful responses. No one is taking my issue seriously or providing a real solution.
As a seller of seasonal products, this severe delay is causing me to face out-of-season stock, product stockouts, and potential inventory backlogs. For a new seller like me, this is nothing short of a catastrophe.
Has anyone else experienced this? How did you handle it?
Receving delay over 30days!! Any Similar Issues?
This is unexceptable. Over the years things have gone downhill, along with everything else. My advice- learn from this. Since it seems you have a reliable overseas supply, take a different path and open a Shopify or similar platfrom to sell. You can be in full control. Best of luck to you.
Yes, I have experienced this personally many times. Lost shipments, long receiving times, and the other day we inexplicably had a bunch of products become unavailable for sale because they went into reserve status for no apparent reason. abusive towards sellers and it is a harder and harder environment to be profitable on this platform.
This is the busiest time of year and it is not unusual for deliveries to take 7-8 weeks to be received after delivery and then another 2-3 weeks to be available for sale. It's not good, but it's not that unusual either.
If you are selling seasonal products, then you need to be sending them August/September.
Amazon is doing what they can to delay orders to charge storage fees along with buy box removals and high pricing errors making many listings useable on this platform. This is why we all are building up other platforms.
I have been selling for over 10 years on Amazon. This happens every single year.
Ship early and ship often.
Price your items to make up for the storage fees, placement fees, etc.
You are in control of your business.
Amazon has over 1.5 million people working for them, they are so big it is beyond comprehension. Do not expect them to treat your products differently or have any concern over them. Plan accordingly.
OH yes. We have had something in reserves since October. Now the inventory totally disappeared. They claim they are researching it SINCE Oct.
Hello @Seller_8CXYuSTHmlFXZ, I'm sorry to hear this. I would be happy to take a look at your shipment. What is the shipment ID?
