I received a $5691.69 charge from Amazon under the "others" transaction type

Amazon charged my account a hefty amount of $5691.69 as Others without giving any explanation of this transaction. I have opened multiple cases to get an explanation about this transaction but seems like they don't want to answer me. They transferred the case After 6 days no response. My Case ID# 15542385941.

Could anyone help me with that? How could I know the details of the transaction?

It could be either the low inventory fee or inbound placement services. They are hiding it under "other" so we do not clearly see it and to try and make the impact less.

Instead of making a new line item that would enrage sellers when they saw how high these fees are.

Had the same thing. $1,734 charged the day before disbursements. No notes, no information. Never seen a charge like in 9+ years selling.

People saying oh it’s this or that don’t know what they are talking about. Those fees are categorized appropriately with adequate information. This is categorized as Other - Others. Zero detail, just poof.

I too have opened 4 cases. All of them have been transferred and closed. This latest is still open but it’s a generic seller support case which will likely never get answered.

I emailed Jeff’s team to seek answers, but that “team” if it even exists anymore didn’t respond either. Stuck here in limbo, no information about the charges. Keep me posted.

Else I’ll have to create my own post, because apparently the only to get anywhere with seller support is to have the fine mods here follow up on their end.

We received a similar one, and what we found after digging through transaction reports in the payment tab is a massive amount of the carrier companies charging more for shipping after already agreed upon.

its totally illegal and unethical, but that's just how it works now. Packages that we sent, they scanned, and were EXACTLY THE SAME had amounts added to them between 2 dollars and some as high as 200 dollars.

They call it "other" for a reason, and make it nearly impossible to find in hopes that they can get away with this for as long as possible. We have lost thousands and thousands. All cases created about this have falled on deaf ears.

This is from a thread I recently posted about this. Amazon is aware of it, and admits its an "error" as does Fedex, but nothing is being done about it. There is no compensation.

UPDATE CASE SOLVED

@Connor_Amazon Opened a case for me on my Seller Central. The relevant team reached out to me and gave me an email from the department that charged me that hefty amount. After inquiring with them why they charged me that amount. They let me know that It was charged by the Wisconsin Department of Revenue pursuant to a Notice of Levy. I have to check with them why they charged me.

In short, these $5669 marked as "Others" are from the Wisconsin Department of Revenue pursuant to a Notice of Levy.

@Connor_Amazon

Can you help me pass this case along? It's been a month since this whole transaction was processed. I'm interested in seeing if a government entity took my money too. CASE ID 15581303571
