Hello,
We are experiencing a recurring issue with our FBM inventory. Every time we update the inventory count, it resets back to the previous number.
Currently, we are out of stock in our warehouse, so we set the inventory to 0, but within minutes, it reverts to the previous amount. An Amazon support agent mentioned that this could be due to mirroring from our Canada account; however, we no longer have a Canada account, yet the issue persists.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Why is this happening, and how can we permanently fix it?
Thank you in advance for your help!

Are you using any 3rd party software that might update inventory? Or are you not waiting long enough to check/verify that the inventory has been set to 0? (ie does it go to zero in 4-12 hours?)
When you change it, if you are doing it in Inventory Manager, you now have to hit "Enter" to change the number, but still have to hit "Save" at the bottom of the page to actually save the change.
You probably know that, but any change to workflow can cause some confusion. Especially when it's another change that seems to do nothing more than to slow us down by requiring more clicks.
my FBM is wonky also
I sold the last item listed here, it goes inactive as it should (0) I then revise the price and the quantity, and it sells the item the next day at the old $1 lower price. So if it took the edit for the quantity why not the price also?
Today I tried 4 times to revise an inactive item (0) to a quantity of 5 and price $1 higher and it shows the old price as I keep trying to revise the price three more times. So if it took the edit for the quantity why not the price also, rather than show the old price?
yes, I am goin in several times a week to change quantity levels
Besides third party inventory management software like shipstation pushing stock levels it could be pending FBM orders. Check manage orders > seller fulfilled > pending
That's the wonderful Amazon at it again, as always...
Last week I verified (several times) I did not have a certain item listed after the last one onhand had sold, the quantity was zero, I DELETED the Listing, 'searched' my Inventory to insure it did not show up, and ~VOILA~ tonight the item sells...
Aw shucks golly gee willagers, I guess it was an honest error of the wonderful, competent, uptodate, all empowering, AI is never wrong, Bots that handle everything so well that we love...
