Read onlyWe have a Parent/Child product listing for different size variations of the same product (think olive oil: 4oz to 1 Gallon). Until recently, all the variations shared reviews across the entire product family.
However, our most popular size ASIN is no longer sharing reviews with the other sizes. It displays reviews exclusively for itself, while all the remaining child variations now share their reviews, excluding the problematic ASIN. Importantly, the parent/child relationship for all listings remains intact in the Variation Wizard, Listing/Inventory View, and other relevant sections. On Amazon, the listing still shows all variations on the same page, but only the popular size has a separate, higher review count.
We've opened multiple cases (Case ID: 15190190031 for reference) with Seller Support, but weeks of back-and-forth haven't yielded a solution. Their latest response is particularly concerning:
"All the variations on the family now share 457 ratings and reviews at least. Listing [removed ASIN] shows more ratings and reviews than the rest of the family. The reviews or ratings are not shared across international websites when we detect unusual reviewer behavior."
It's important to note that we only sell on Amazon US (FBA & FBM) and have never had any issues with "unusual reviewer behavior" in the past. This doesn't make sense for our small business with a clean record (over 12 years) and a history of positive reviews.
We are the brand owners and are also registered with Amazon Brand Registry.
Good Evening @Seller_RW2hhNpmNDVQL,
I have escalated CASE ID 15190190031 to one of our internal partner teams to check on why you are seeing child ASINs lose their reviews when they were previously shared across all the variations. They should get back to us within the next few business days. Until then have a wonderful rest of the week and take care.
Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon
