Does Amazon accept the invoice of Target and Walmart

Hello,

Does Amazon accept invoices from retailers like Target and Walmart? I’m not referring to using these invoices for ungating purposes. My question is: if I list already ungated products on Amazon, but after a few sales or due to a customer complaint, Amazon requests an invoice, will invoices from Target or Walmart be acceptable?

Another question: if I purchase 10 units from brands like Nike or Adidas, and I ask their customer service to issue an invoice under my company details, is that possible? If so, could I then continue purchasing smaller quantities from retailers like Walmart or Target, and, if Amazon requests an invoice, submit the original brand invoice? Would this approach work with Amazon, or is there another way people manage to scale to six-figure earnings in Online Arbitrage?

Thank you!

No. Target and Walmart give REICEIPTS and not invoices.

Listing Nike or Adidas is the sentence of death of each seller account.

To sell BRANDS you need:

1. A "Letter of Authorization" from the brand allowing you to sell their brand on Amazon.

2. INVOICE (not receipt) from an authorized distributor. An invoice is a document with your name and address, exactly how you registered it in your seller account under "Legal Entity" and "Official Registered Address". And an authorized distributor is a company authorized by the brand owner.

Here a link regarding correct sourcing:

Go in Seller central, scroll down to "Learn", click "Seller University", take 4-5 weeks of intense learning. Selling on Amazon is difficult and full of traps and has to be learned intensely. Read this forum daily.

Online Arbitage is no longer a model for Amazon.

If you then list them for sale, you will have no more worries. Your account will be suspended, your funds and any FBA inventory seized, and you will never sell on Amazon again.

At least you're asking first; but I suggest spending at LEAST a week (2 is better) reading the forums. Pay special attention to any threads such as "Section 3", "Counterfeit", or "Suspended". Check out a few of the Nike threads as well.

You get only one chance on Amazon; don't blow it by following advice from YouTube or TikTok. And certainly don't try RA or listing any brands for which you are not authorized.

Hello @Seller_7brkNQoyFCcMS

Thank you for posting your inquiry to the Forums and thank you to members of the community for the guidance provided.

If you are requested to provide documentation on how you source your documents, the documentation should include the following:

  • Copies of invoices, receipts or other similar documents that demonstrate where your products are produced or manufactured
  • Should reflect the sales volume of your product across all Amazon marketplaces in the last 365 days
  • Should demonstrate your product’s full supply chain
  • Should include contact information for the supplier(s) and the original manufacturer. We may contact suppliers or manufacturers to verify the documents
  • Your documents should be able to trace your products to the original manufacturer even if you did not purchase them directly from the original manufacturer. This may require requesting additional invoices or supply chain documentation from your supplier if you are not sourcing directly from the manufacturer.
  • You may remove pricing information, but the rest of the document must be visible to enable adequate review of the documents you provide. For ease of our review, you may highlight or circle the ASIN(s) under review.

I have included some resources that provide guidance on sourcing products:
