Amazon related account issue

I have an Amazon seller account that I created in 2022. However, I never started selling because I was in the process of creating my own brand and product to sell on Amazon. At that time, English was not my main language, so my friend and I created our Amazon selling accounts together, and he assisted me with the video verification of my account.

Unfortunately, his seller account was never activated, and he didn't attempt to verify it further as he had started another difference business.

Last February, I received an email from Amazon stating that my account had been deactivated due to a related account issue. I explained to Amazon that my friend's Amazon account was never verified, and I hadn't even begun selling. Therefore, there was no intention of creating multiple accounts.

Initially, I informed Amazon of this, but they rejected my Plan of Action (POA). After that, I informed my friend of the issue, and he deleted his inactive account and provided photographic evidence of its deletion. I attached these proofs and crafted a POA, but this was also rejected.

Now, I'm frustrated with the situation. I would appreciate any advice on this matter. Thank you in advance.

Hello Thank you for providing insight into the issues you are experiencing with your account.

I understand that your account is deactivated due to a relationship with another account that belonged to a friend who helped you with the verification process on your account.

In your specific case where you recognize the type of relationship with the owner of the associated account, the available option will be to reactivate your friend's account. Once your friend's account is reinstated, you can appeal the relations enforcement by providing a copy of the email or screenshot showing the account was reactivateted.

Closing your friend's account while the account is still blocked, will significantly delay resolution times. As I stated previously, based on the type of relation found between accounts, reactivating the primary account is basically the only path forward to reinstate your account.

In this scenario, where your friend doesn't have access to his account, he'll need to file the appeal with the required documentation to reactivate their account directly from your account.

Please refer to the help pages Address a Multiple Account Policy violation for additional information.

If you would also like to provide further insight into the specific issue you are having with your account, the Forums community and I will gladly assist to the best of our ability.

Best regards,
