Just to clarify for everyone, this is due to the INFORM ACT Review. You should all receive a banner on the top of your account health page with a tab to verify and the at-risk notice will go away.
Are they just having us click a box saying everything's the same or do we have to re-submit documents and do the postcard thing again?
Gee, I can't wait to have that hanging over my head again like last year. I don't have it yet but I'm betting I will and I'm betting like last time it will be there for weeks even after verifying everything.
Nothing like having everyone live in fear of losing a large portion of their income.
Its to re-verify your Account information.
Scroll down on the Account health Page and Click on the item that requires attention.
Quick and simple.
I just went through this with them and I don't know why they attach the "risk" banner first, but in a couple of hours, you will receive an actual email telling you to connect to your Account Health page and, when you do, there will be a connection to walk you through any updates or to just verify that everything is the same. It took a few seconds for me and they have already removed the banner from my Seller Account page.
It is a kind test to check how you react, as for me I almost had a heart attack, thank you Amazon for scaring poor sellers one more time, we really appreciate it and can't wait to get more.
Received that 1-month ago. Apparently Amazon has "improved" from last year's F-U. They simply ask if all your information is still current. If it is no submissions are necessary.
But they also tell you this will be an ongoing thing yearly or more often.
In my case, I need to resubmit my bank inforamtion. I keep the same bank inforamtion since last year. Nothing changed.
The threatening tone of these notifications is absurd.
I received the notification at the end of last week, immediately complied, apparently they still have my old address despite updating it like 4 other places on Amazon. So I have to wait for the postcard which they just mailed this morning.
A few hours later there's an even more threatening email basically saying 'our records indicate we've asked you many times for this info & you still haven't complied... account at risk of deactivation'
None of this should require aggressive, panic-inducing text. Just 'hey, we need a thing.' Choices were made...
