I have utility patent, Design patent, Trademark. On February 6th My inventory was put in quarantine for suspected violations. I'm being told that it is being worked on Case number 17229308051. I'm also being told that my product cannot be released for 60 days. I get that Amazon is a selling platform but what gives Amazon the right to hold someone's inventory without just cause or without proper notifications. No performance notifications nothing. I have also learned the hard way how bad customer service is and they just lie to you to get you off the phone. When my product is released who is going to pay me back for all the lost sales due to the fact that amazon has in my opinion stolen my inventory without any just cause. This unfair business practice. My listings are suppressed my advertising has become a waste. I have listings with absolutely no views now. Why waste my time to insist on a Brand when you get treated like garbage. But yet I see all the fake product listings with foreign addresses not even in english. I waited years for my patents to get approved to run into this drama. RELEASE MY INVENTORY

If Amazon suspects there is an IP violation, they MUST quarantine your inventory. If they were to release counterfeit inventory, then they would face charges of trafficking.
So that's why they must keep it. As to why they have doubts, that's anyone's guess; and would not surprise me if it's a rogue bot.
You agree to this when you sign up with Amazon. It is their platform and they can and are required to hold any inventory if they suspect a violation. This is in your selling agreement.

I just took a look at both the case you sent and your account to get some more background information. I am curious as to why you believe this inventory is being withheld due to a violation? I can see that all of the ASINs in the case you sent are active on the website. I can see that there are 2 ASINs with 3 units each that are unfulfillable with the "customer damaged" reason code and that is not on you as that means Amazon determines that the unit has been damaged by the buyer upon return to the fulfillment center. The unit is set aside as unsellable. You may request for these units to be removed and sent to you!
