I am a novice seller. When I created my first ASIN, I accidentally chose a “generic” registration. When I started selling, I found that this could not serve my customers better. I need to ASIN changed from generic to brand

I need to ASIN changed from generic to brand
That is easy if it is YOUR brand. You take a new UPC from GS1 and create a new listing. There is NO other possibility or way around.
If by chance you listed another brand under generic, that was a violation.
If by chance you want to list now another brand under the correct brand name you need:
1. A "Letter of Authorization" from the brand allowing you to sell their brand on Amazon.
2. INVOICE (not receipt) from an authorized distributor. An invoice is a document with your name and address, exactly how you registered in your seller account under "Legal Entity" and "Official Registered Address".
Eventually that product exists already, so you just join the existing listing. Otherwise you create a new one by using the product's UPC.
