Account Identity Verification Delay
We have offices in both the US and the UK. Our sales primarily come from our FBA account in the US marketplace, but want to reinstate our FBM account in the UK marketplace.
It looks like our UK payment verification has been completed as we are currently being billed each month. Upon further inspection, the product display page for our UK listings make it appear as if we are shipping from our FBA US account, which is not the case. The ASINs in Seller Central for the UK are set to Fulfilled by Merchant + our UK Shipping Template.
Seller support advised that this is due to our pending Identity Verification. The most recent identity verification submission was for our beneficial owner 30+ working days ago. We haven't heard any updates and proactively reached out for an update from Seller Verification (seller-verification-review@amazon.co.uk).
We received the following canned reply:
We are currently reviewing the information that you have provided. We will contact you as soon as we have completed this review or if we need any further information.
We cannot give you an exact deadline, but our team is working hard to complete verification as soon as possible.
The Amazon Payments Team
Can anybody advise on this delay? Is there only one person managing verifications? Did Amazon push this task ask to AI causing a glitch?
We were given an estimated turnaround of 10 working days and actively still paying for a professional seller account only to be blocked from making our listings shoppable in the corresponding marketplace.
Please note that we have not received any communication about the verification since submitting the documents.

verification is currently taking several weeks. There are thousands of sellers in the queue.
