Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out because I’ve been dealing with a significant issue regarding Shipping Carrier Adjustments, mainly from USPS and DHL. These charges appear sporadically and in bursts, and then disappear, which seems very odd. I’ve noticed this pattern has been happening more frequently, especially starting earlier this year. I’m a small business owner, and these unexpected charges are affecting my cash flow and could potentially put me out of business if they continue.
I’m meticulous about my shipping processes—I’ve personally verified the dimensions and weights of every SKU, documented everything with pictures, and often round up the dimensions and weight to avoid any discrepancies. Despite this, the charges keep coming, and when I reach out to Amazon Seller Support, I am told they can't refund these adjustments and to contact the carriers directly. When I contact the carriers, they tell me to get in touch with Amazon, leaving me stuck in a frustrating cycle with no resolution.
The process of disputing these adjustments one by one is incredibly time-consuming and exhausting. I'm hoping someone here can point me in the direction of any third-party services, apps, or companies that specialize in disputing these shipping carrier adjustments on behalf of sellers. The back-and-forth and opening individual disputes for each adjustment takes too much time, which could otherwise be spent growing my business.
Is anyone else experiencing these sudden bursts of carrier adjustments, and have you found a solution or service that can help manage and dispute these charges effectively? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance!
Most of us have been dealing with the same thing, it is eating into our profits and there is no solution, I have not had a single adjustment reversed, and have been given the runaround by many support members and USPS staff.
Neither will provide any answers and pass blame off on the other party.
Hello @Seller_QMIvrSsdBmeXx Thank you for checking in with the forums about carrier adjustments.
Seller disputes of carrier adjustments must be submitted through Amazon Support. I am aware that sellers are sometimes instructed to contact the carriers directly, and we work to make sure that the information is corrected.
Carrier adjustments are often processed in batches, as you have seen. These adjustments appear in the payment reports in your seller account, though not necessarily in the same settlement period as the original purchase.
