Got a IP complaint for a suspected counterfeit.
"Submission note: We suspect that the listed item may be a materially different product and potentially infringing our IP."
This was done with no test buy from the brand. And it was sent by a service called Reap Greyscout. As if to broadly challenge anybody on the listing immediately. I will be submitting an appeal with documentation from my supplier, etc. As going to track down all the invoices and supply chain documents with my BOL. Do I really need to track back all the invoices and documents all the way back to the manufacturer or is just my invoice with my supplier sufficient for this kind of appeal? I'm worried about taking too much time to gather all these documents if it is not necessary, but also don't want to submit with missing info they need. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
yes, supply chain documentation needs to trace the product AND authorization to sell, back to the brand. (You need to be brand authorized to retail their products on Amazon)
Amazon expects you to have all these documents in hand when you list, especially the LOA has to be older than the violation.
