This type of use is fine but thinking chatgpt is smarter than a human is a huge mistake. It's not even close. Asking it what products to sell for example will give widely different results and it's data is from 2020. Don't believe me , pay attention to what it says.

COVID changed everything about buying and it's data is precovid on a lot of things. That leaves you with hoping it's Google search doesn't return information from 100 " sell this on Amazon drop ship it bro , make a billion this is my Lamborghini, I'll show you how to make a billion selling game of thrones.

There are some areas this might do well. Antiques for example, the one thing the older it gets not even COVID can really mess it's value up to much, but I digress.

This application isn't new. The AI isn't new. I've written applications on a smaller scale like this. They work great if you train them 1. How to use the data, condition it to understand and relate 2. And this is why chatgpt fails at giving trends or product advice - you have to feed it current and reliable data. It's no different then using selenium for automation or windows API, or test stack White .dll ect... These things only work until the application updates the GUI or website changes. Then the automation breaks because the data is bad.

I said them same thing earlier and someone tuned in about hooking it to an API. It's not that simple you would have to train it to use that data otherwise it will say " Chinese electronics sell the best" and totally ignore that China's hold on electronics is slipping very quickly due to chip sanctions for example.You have to train it to look at all the data and make projections because it can't read new articles and figure this out. This can be done but you either have to be good enough to do it yourself and it could take 6-9 months or hire someone and no one cheap on fiver can do this, this is at least a mid level python or C++ dev with specialization in AI and robotics and you'll want him to be familiar with statistics and forecasting. Even then 2 months at 250 and hour. Im trying to save someone from making these stupid mistakes that people are losing jobs money over. It's a basic secretary with extremely fast and specific query skills. One day it'll be more but it's not there yet.

One a side note for the fellow coders reading this thinking NP!: if you did write all this and hook it in. Chatgpt is an excellent Jr level dev and can debug and fix code pretty impressively. It just writes basic inheritance, it doesn't seem to do well with encapsulation or interfaces, but since you are writing this yourself good notes may work and only you can mess it up! and unfortunately since programming changes so fast a lot of it's go to libraries and code are out of date. You have to very specifically tell it " use angular 12" for example instead of using angular because it'll probably default to angular 4 , the most popular angular online. Also tell it the .net, the newest library not in beta, ect ect... It can do it though just gotta tell it how, like writing a spec sheet for an intern it'll slowly figure it out if you scream at it right. So Pseudo that bad boy out at make her work for you. But you're going to have to change and edit code as you go to reflect your data , usage, cases, loops, ect
