Since October, we've had a serious issue with almost 2000 units of inventory being held in fulfilment centre XBH6, which does not serve customers. This has led to many lines being out of stock and unavailable while the stock is "FC Processing" while held in this warehouse.
Despite opening numerous cases, requesting their escalation with the Senior Leadership Team and speaking to an "FBA UK Account Manager" at Amazon, we are no closer to moving stock out of this warehouse, some of which has now been there for 6 months.
Most of this is seasonal stock, and while our available stock sold out in FBA during Q4 this stock was never moved so we have missed out on selling our key lines during this time.
Now that we have to hold the stock until next year, we want to recall these units from FBA. However, as the units are also unavailable to recall, they remain stuck, and we have no options available to change this situation.
We have opened many cases and have been told the usual information that transhipment can take up to 30 days. We were also told there was a system update in January, which is now completed, but there has been no change to our inventory status.
Given that we have exhausted all options available to us to resolve this situation with Amazon over the last six months, we are posting here for advice on where to go from here.
