The support team interfaced with on this issue is not LISTENING to what the problem is.
ISSUE: I need to have a separate email and password for our SELLER CENTRAL account.
CURRENTLY: it is the email and password used for my PERSONAL Amazon.com (shopping account)
TO COMPLICATE THINGS EVEN MORE: When change log-in credentials on SELLER CENTRAL - - - OR - - - - Personal Amazon account it changes it for BOTH. I need to separate log in credentials for each platform. I can not have my personal account tied to the business seller central account.
You will always have a buyer account linked to your seller account.
But you can open a second (or third, or fourth, or more) buyer account with different e-mails. You can never dissociate the buyer account that is linked to the seller account.
Just a cautionary note to tack onto the post by Picks by Nisha --
NEVER attempt to close the buying account associated with the selling account. That is bad. Very bad.
I believe you can make it so you allow others to go into your account, like co workers, & give them permission to see only certain items in the account.
Perhaps there is a way to block you're buying account. Look into that. It should be under permissions in account settings.
I will assume you are New here, so I will help.

This is NOT an issue, THIS is how Amazon does it.
IF you are at a Professional Level ($39.99 / month) you CAN change the business name of the Seller account to whatever you wish in your Settings. Since I have only been at Pro level, I am unsure if an "Individual" Seller account is able to change this attribute or not.
I think MOST of us Sellers came to Amazon as Buyers FIRST, and then became Sellers. Similarly, probably MOST of us would also like to separate our Business account (Seller) from our Personal account.
Unfortunately, this is NOT how Amazon does business.
Then you cannot be a Seller on Amazon.
Also, please note that what you are demanding is not in the authority of ANYONE at Amazon to grant.
You can feel free to dig in your heels, or hold your breath until your face turns blue, but you are fighting against reality here, and it does not change at your personal whim.
To demonstrate the futility of your request, I suggest that you go out to your closest ocean coastline, wade waist-deep into the oncoming waves, and try punching them until they stop approaching the shore.
You will have just as much success as what you are insisting be granted to you on Amazon (which is none), but you WILL get a nice workout...
Finally, based on your request, and the way you seem to believe that it should, or MUST be granted to you, I am going to go out on a limb here and assume you have not completed Amazon Seller University, available FREE on this very website.
You are off to an inauspicious start here. Make SURE you know what you are doing BEFORE you make a fatal error here. It is easy to do, and Amazon does NOT consider ignorance to be a mitigating factor.
Good Luck!
Hmmmm. I don't think this is accurate.
I have read MANY a posting on this very Form of Sellers who had their Selling account suspended for BEING RELATED to another Seller account.
I was recruited by Amazon itself to become an Amazon Seller, and the VP in Seattle literally set-up my Pro-Level account for me just so I could begin selling on Amazon.
When this was being done I specifically asked if I could open a second, separate account under the Business name, and have it be separate from my Personal account.
JUST like the OP, and probably for the same reasons.
I was told that while I may change the Seller account name to whatever I wish, it will ALWAYS be tied to my existing Personal Amazon Buyer account.
It was further explained to me that everyone gets one, and ONLY one Amazon account per-lifetime*. This is why someone cannot open multiple accounts using multiple emails.
Amazon makes a regular and consistent effort to prevent this from occurring by suspending accounts that are deemed to be "Related" by Amazon's standards.
IF I am correct, and a person only gets ONE account per-lifetime, AND they get it suspended by trying to open multiple accounts, wouldn't that be a really silly reason to get suspended?
* There are some on the Forum who claim to be able to have multiple accounts, but since I was told specifically otherwise by an Amazon VP. I choose to discount their claims.

Right, you can have one SELLER account. But you can (and should) have multiple buyer accounts, only one of which is associated with the seller account.

Right. But if you open a second buyer account, you consider that your new "personal" account, and the one linked to the seller account is the business account.
We have 4 buyer accounts; one is linked to the business, and is used for business purchases (supplies, equipment, etc., NOT inventory). Spouse has a personal account to use, and I have two (although use only one). No problems at all. And since you SHOULD keep your business and personal transactions separate, it's really best to have separate buying accounts.

Yes, only one SELLER account. Although the rule has been somewhat relaxed in the last few years, but the requirements are pretty strict.
But this has nothing to do with buyer accounts.
If it is a big issue. I would just use an alias (not sure actual term) account under your Amazon buying account if you have not already.
You need to set up another, separate Personal account, and keep the Business one as is.
