Is it just us or more of other sellers getting customers whose package was delivered by USPS say they did not get the package? No other platform do we get so many customers who say they did not get it. Most customers say this after the package was delivered 4-5 days prior. We ship through Amazon shipping but Amazon does not cover us because there is no signature. Bull crap.
This is incorrect. Amazon will cover INR A to Z claims if you purchase shipping from them. Signature is only required if it was SFP.
This is only true if these are SFP orders.
Standard orders do not need signature confirmation to be covered by Amazon.
If you purchase shipping through amazon, you’re covered. If there are any problems with shipping or delivery, politely refer the customer to call Amazon customer service (and provide them with the phone #) and ask them to call to get assistance with filing an A to Z claim in order to get a full refund. If you shipped on time using amazon shipping, you are 100% covered, and the A to Z claim will not count against you in any way, and amazon will cover all costs. you’re welcome
I’ll pile on and agree with the previous 2. AZ Buy ship covers INR without a signature unless it is a SFP order.
If you have lost, then you can appeal. I would suggest posting how you responded in the first place so that it may be criticized.
Sell rules are clear, but did you make every effort prior to the customer filing the A-Z claim? Did you have any contact with the customer?
We still say that there are a lot of customers/people who are career criminals out there…And Amazon allows this…WHY??? It’s the SELLERS that suffer…NOT AMAZON. Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
ok here is one:
Customer issue:

Delivery estimate: April 18, 2019 - April 22, 2019
Ford Racing M7548A Clutch Release Bearing
Customer comments: Hi,
Our mutual customer has called in to request assistance with the refund since she has not received the item she purchased. She already made her due diligence in trying to find the item even went so far as to get a police report about it. Our mutual customer right now is asking for a refund for the missing item instead.
Kindly coordinate with the customer about the refund.
,Amazons response:" Dear Yates Performance,
We have granted an A-to-z Guarantee claim of $55.90 on order 112-4496756-2317838. We have debited the amount from your account and have counted the claim against your Order Defect Rate."
My appeal:
Package 1 - USPS (9400110200882018099381) April 16, 2019

This claim should not count against us and we should not be held liable for the money. We shipped this item through Amazon Shipping and U.S. Government scanned it as Delivered to the customer on April 18th. We follow the rules and should not be GUILTY of wrong during. This is NOT right. We work hard to ship customers orders out correctly and on time. Thank you for your help on this.
Amazons decision:
Thank you for taking the time to provide us with additional information regarding the claim on order 112-4496756-2317838. Upon further review, we have decided to uphold our original decision
We are having the same issue and never have had this problem before.
On an Amazon order, all the customer sees is the package is delivered. If there is additional information on the courier’s tracking, that is not shown on the Amazon order.
We have found that when we get INR claims, we look at the tracking number and tell them what it shows on the couerier’s site. They then find it and thank us.
In the case of your order, the tracking says it was left at the mailbox. If this is the case, there is a reasonable chance it was stolen. However, when I get similar inquiries, I still send the a form letter that tells them what it shows on the couerier’s site and to ask them to inquiry with other members of their household. If it is not found, you have no choice but to refund.
We find that about 1 in 1000 orders is not found even though we get inquiries on about 1 in 50 to 100 orders. We find that directing the customer to where the courier says it was delivered finds nearly all the packages without any problems.
Your appeal is why you lost the claim. If you purchased the tracking on Amazon and it was not a SFP order, you should have won. Your response to the claim is why you lost.
If you want to devise an appeal that will have the claim overturned, post here for help.
Only happens with Amazon labels delivered by USPS. Very common
