Tier I Support - Upgraded Tools

I just spoke with Amazon Seller Support (Tier I) and as usual, asked to be transferred to the Captive Team, who can better assist me with my needs. Rather than the usual response “I can’t help you until I try to resolve the issue myself”, the rep responded that Amazon just recently upgraded the tools for Tier I Support so that they are the same as the Captive Team’s. Therefore, there was no need to transfer me.

I’m not sure whether or not this rep was telling the truth. Is anyone here aware of such an upgrade?

The seller support team becoming useful sounds less likely than life on other planets. They’re ability and willingness to lie to get a seller to drop something though…

Why are we always the last ones to hear about these coolio neat names!!???

Well now… we are going to call our Amazon Select Concierge Rep and find out just what is going on!!
