So, of course, I checked and noticed I had one copy of each listed on a page Amazon had created, both had sold at least 6 years ago, and I hadn’t listed any since.

Under “what actions I need to take?” I hope “none.”

Can we get smarter bots, people? Or smarter people, bots?

Not surprising that the biggest companies on the Internet with the largest megaphones have all decided that censorship fits their business model.

I much prefer enlightened self-interest. If I am trying to raise the general conscience (ness) then I will be around people who are not too dogmatic in their outlook and beliefs. The ability to disagree and still have respect for the person with whom you disagree is sadly lacking in the dogma today.

By the way, Amazon seems fine selling both those books in the OP in its subsidiary company Abebooks (and making a profit thereby).

Of course, now that both titles are banned here, they have gone way up in price elsewhere (I did not make that kind of money on the two I sold).

I’m not sure what that means. Amazon is still ok profiting from “hate literature” as long as its actual name is not attached?

Amazon would prefer that people have to expend exorbitant sums of money for books Amazon has “restricted”?

Or maybe that Abebooks’ customers are more sophisticated and discerning than Amazon customers and therefore deserve a longer leash?

This is sincere befuddlement by me.
