Related Account Suspended Please Help!~!

Below is the same posting I posted in “General Selling Questions” posted on Jan 23, 2020.

Suspended Account due to Related Account - Help! General Selling Questions

I’ve been selling on Amazon since end of Aug / beginning of Sep of 2019 on US account. After opening, Amazon gave option for us to expand to Mexico and Canada, which we did. On Dec 19, 2019, I received an email in Spanish from seller-performance@amazon.com.mx, stating that my account is deactivated due to it is related to another account that cannot be used to sell. I thought it was an error, so I sent in a POA stating that it was a mistake. - Received no response. And this morning, I receiv…

I’ve been selling on Amazon since end of Aug / beginning of Sep of 2019 on US account.
After opening, Amazon gave option for us to expand to Mexico and Canada, which we did.
On Dec 19, 2019, I received an email in Spanish from seller-performance@amazon.com.mx, stating that my account is deactivated due to it is related to another account that cannot be used to sell.
I thought it was an error, so I sent in a POA stating that it was a mistake. - Received no response.

And this morning, I received an email from Amazon.ca (Canada) stating that my account is deactivated because Amazon.ca(Canada) found that my current selling account is related to a different selling account created in September 26, 2019.

And this afternoon, I received an email from Amazon.com (US) stating that my account is deactivated because Amazon.com(US) found that my current selling account is related to a different selling account created in July 2017 .

I really don’t care about Mexico or Canada account because my Primary is US account.

But since my Primary US (amazon.com) account is suspended, I’m in a panic mode.

I never had any other seller account, this is my first and only account that I opened after setting up a corporation, corporate bank account, business phone line, etc. everything separate from my personal use.

After doing my own research, I found 2 possible scenario how my account could be related to another account:

  1. I asked my husband and he searched his personal email to find that he opened a seller’s account opened back in July 11, 2015 thru his Personal Amazon Account(buyer’s account), but never did anything on the seller’s account. He literally opened and didn’t do anything on it. No listing, no transaction. He says that he opened it to see if he could possibly sell something like on eBay but never went thru with it.

*** But the dates is completely different from what Amazon.ca(Canada) and Amazon.com(US) seller performance team is stating. (Mexico didn’t state the when the related accounts were opened/created)**

  • Husband tried to log in to the seller’s account on his personal phone, it said that it’s been too long since any transaction and Amazon has closed his seller account.
  1. I use business cell phone with seller central app with me all the time everywhere. And I have connected to various public wifi (such as starbucks, mcdonalds, etc) and some hotel’s secured wifi.
  • Could this be the reason why Amazon thinks that my account is related to another account(s)?

On Jan 29, 2020 - Uploaded 2nd Appeal as follow:

Thank you for taking your time to review the deactivation of my Amazon selling privileges.

Root Cause of related account concerns:

  • My Amazon seller account has been flagged for being in relation to an Amazon seller account which may no longer sell on Amazon.
  • This unknowingly occurred due to a previously registered seller account belonging to my husband, [Husband’s name], under email address [husband@gmail.com]. This husband@gmail.com seller account has been confirmed by seller support to be CLOSED (not suspended) with no activity since it was opened in July 2015. See attached affidavit by my husband,[Husband’s Name].

Resolve these concerns for a related account:

  • Confirmed with seller support that seller account husband@gmail.com has been permanently closed.

Prevent future occurrences:

My Amazon seller account has been linked to a previously CLOSED seller account.

My Amazon seller account is registered to my business XXX, Inc. and operated from my home address XXXXXXXXXX

On Jan 29, 2020 - Received email from seller performance stating that seller account has been deactivated, decision was made after reviewing both your account and the information provided.

There is NO OTHER account that my current account can be related, other than my husband’s account that was closed due to inactivity.

Any Pro Sellers and or Mods that can help me?
