I have orders pending since about 3 days
is there any limit for pending orders?
A pending order doesn’t actually exist yet, so it can’t be cancelled. You have no way of knowing who the customer is or how long it will sit there. Sorry, just the way it is. Nothing you can do.
I usually see more pending orders when inventory is moving around fulfillment centers. That could be your issue. It will stay as pending until the item can be shipped. I’ve seen up to 8 days for popular items that can’t get to centers fast enough.
You can contact Amazon and ask them to release the pending orders. The pending orders do hold your inventory while pending. So if your low on inventory or only have that one item, I would call them.
At present I have 60 pending orders some going back as long as 16 days. I have spoken with Jeff’s office and they told me there is a technical problem and they are working on a fix. I don’t use FBA but do the shipping myself. In the the past week only 6 orders have made it the shipping stage. Eventually and usually in one big lump the orders will be sent to shipping so in my opinion don’t cancel any of the pending orders the majority will eventually be sent to shipping.
Pending FBA orders are usually not a payment problem. They are usually Amazon’s doing.
Orders remain pending until Amazon ships them. I had long delays on non-Prime member international shipments when I used FBA because they were waiting for an adequate number of orders for their freight consolidation process to Germany.
If I get a long-term pending order, i just make sure there are units available in my Active Inventory, so real buyers have a chance to buy them.
