Read onlyHello Sellers,
Hard to believe it has been 9 months since we migrated to the Discourse system. I remember how rocky it was, and if I did not say it then, I must say now thank you for your patience while we took feedback from you and acted on it.
Today, we want more feedback from you. Would you be interested in sharing and having access to materials about selling on Amazon which others have found helpful? What about Seller meet-ups? Maybe you already do this in person in your area, or you might meet virtually. Some of you with shared interests may already use a private message here to start a conversation and invite others to participate.
Please tell us about your experiences, and feel free to provide suggestions and feedback so we may understand how we might make the forums experience richer and more valuable to you.
Susan
I’ll edit if I think of anything else.
Edit:
As was suggested about this being a seller only forum. And if it were to be made into that.
You would have to incorporate a way to still have access to sellers who would be suspended, and/or with an inactive account.
As they technically won’t be “active/sellers.”
Edit:Edit:
I’m surprised no one has said this.
How about another resurrection of the “This question/topic has been answered”?
To avoid the redundancy of people not reading all 10 comments in a thread. and saying what post 4 said, and the OP being post 5 confirming post 4 answered their inquiry?
I know I’ve seen the Discourse platform have that ability on other forums.
Is this not what the “help” button is? It is already bad enough that the Buyer and Seller versions show different policies. It is hard see how adding third version would be helpful to anyone.
What about making the threads private only to sellers, not buyers?
As sellers we discuss how some customers take advantage of the return system etc. Which might give ideas to those with bad intentions searching “How to get free stuff on amazon” etc.
This is very important to us sellers, is like we’re teaching people how to get free stuff and win A-Z…
Hi Susan,
I would love to see some way we can communicate with mods through the forums for help on areas where Amazon agents make decisions on A to Z’s, feedback issues, and other transactions but don’t know the policies. This would be a great way to support Amazon as sellers by enhancing training opportunities for agents.
MOST IMPORTANT FEATURE
We NEED this seller forum to be closed to the public. This is a forum for registered amazon seller accounts only; you can’t enter into discourse here without being an Amazon seller. That should also be the reading requirement.
As it stands, every archived post, comment, and reply is indexed by search engines over the internet. So every time someone explained how they were scammed, how they were defrauded, how they lost A-to-Z claims, etc… that post is easily reached by malicious individuals who are openly looking for exploits.

the Problems at Amazon are either inconsistent or failure of amazon to follow it’s own policies or Amazon facilitaing Bad buyers to use amazon to scam sellers who have no recourse from an Amazon system who do not care for the sellers or any sense of what is fair
Umm… that our requests be heard and Amazon’s flawed system of always taking the customer’s side even if the customer was in the wrong over third party sellers every single time be changed. Simple request… yes I know but it seems impossible for you guys to even come close to meeting that request.
The option to meet sellers in the same geographic area would be something I’d be very interested in doing.
Forum sections “help for new sellers” and “Order Management, Shipping, Feedback & Returns” exist without a single thumbtack. Would say you forum moderators aren’t doing your job of putting helpful information in the right place to prevent redundancy.
How can I replace one of you?
