Listings Hacked and Hijacked. What to do?
I’ve heard of other people getting their listings hijacked but I had no clue how terrible security measures were at FBA. I woke up to see many of my products completely altered, reviews missing, page titles changed. It appears to be the work of a Chinese / German hacker as all my listing titles changed without my permission and loads of reviews deleted, I really dont know what is going on over at Amazon but this is insanity.

This is an example of one of my listings title changed. I have to assume Amazon did this job on the inside. Should I be getting a lawyer?

So far (24 hours after my initial contact to support) the most recent amazon employee in India said there were people looking at it and they would try to fix my listings. As an FBA seller who has invested significant capital in promoting my products to see this happen is absolutely devastating and destroying my brand. This amounts to Amazon allowing DEFAMATION and Slander of a small business just trying to survive through the largest crisis of the century (COVID-19). Good look to other FBA sellers! You are going to need it!

Ok this could be something that happened to alot of sellers recently.
Do you by any chance have any health claims, FDA or BPA references in your listings?

Is someone else currently selling under this changed listing, or does it just look like it’s been “vandalized” with bullet points gone too?
Something similar happened to one of our parent-child listings 1-2 months ago, some of the children were evicted, the bullet points vanished and the title was replaced with Chinese characters or completely removed – they became unsearchable through the catalog.
I opened a case using a keyword like “hack” or “fraud” (I really can’t remember) and I got an immediate call from a very knowledgeable US-based rep. She told me that it was a system glitch and that the solution was to delete and relist, and that seemed to work. She also asked if the listing had mentioned FDA, which it definitely did not. Our payment info also got reset while I was making the changes as instructed, so that raised blood pressure further.
Did we get hacked or was it a glitch? Nothing bad has happened since.

So far I’ve received an email from a person named Sophie claiming to have fixed the problem. The HACKER INSIDE AMAZON has TAKEN DOWN MY LISTINGS and DELETED PRODUCT REVIEWS. Amazon needs to take care of this problem and restore my listings to their original state. It has been 48 hours. This is no glitch LS27 Amazon has a problem with EMPLOYEES hacking their system and manipulating listings / taking them down / changing titles (chinese characters on my listings that were deactivated in the title). PLEASE CONTACT ME AMAZON. I’VE PAID YOU THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN FEES and GET NO VALID SUPPORT. WHAT CAN I DO?
