Hello Sellers,
At the request of the Seller Trust team, please click the following link to complete an 8-minute survey regarding the process for appealing listing violations:

Feel free to discuss the survey here. The survey will close on June 16.
Thanks,
Amazon
I responded to the survey, and cannot say that I found any evidence that the Seller Trust team has any clue what a serious issue this is for so many sellers.
If they did have a clue they would ask
How many restrictions one was notified of in a month,
How many of those restrictions did they feel were incorrect
How many of those restrictions did they succeed in getting corrected
How knowledgeable did they consider the responses to be
What percentage of these restrictions do they appeal
I would characterize my responses to the survey to be hostile.
At the request of the Seller Trust team
We have a “Seller Trust” team?
Unless you’re living under a rock, you must realize that seller trust in Amazon wavers around ZERO.
I looked at the survey, answered a few questions, and then stopped midway.
Every question assumes that the seller is at fault. The writers of the survey seem to be assuming that Amazon is never wrong. So the answers that they get will continue to support that delusion.
If the survey writers could ask about the mistakes that Amazon makes, they would get a much more accurate picture.
Garbage in, garbage out.
Clearly another waste of our time. I think that they are just making it look like they care but really do NOT. How are they truly going to fix out of control bots anyway? Will not bother as nothing will happen. Hey Amazon we do not belive you!
I just open my account and since than I receive deactivation notices in general, I submitted many times but, still receive same notice. I humbly ask to be more specific as I am new, but no results.
Even today I receive my welcome and congratulation email that my account has been created. but my seller page still shows de-activation notice. I am lost what to do now.
The appeal process for newbie and beginner who are just enter is not feasible at all for account opening related matters to be deal separately and specifically point to point.
Thanks
I sell wonderful old books used
Amazon claims my kids books are pesticides
When I offered a wonderful book about china and when the iron curtain fell
Amazon demanded to know what material these curtains were made of
when I price a book fairly Amazon demands it is too cheap or too expensive
Others sellers (with 80% rating offer a routine out of print psychology book for 800 dollars
Why cant I sell it for less
similar book offered for three dollars I want to sell it for 9 and amazon doesnt like that either.
I am always being bothered by Amazon never encouraged
In the last 6 months or so, I am progressively seeing many (like 5 to 10 per day) of valid products that I have been selling for several years, getting flagged and later removed for invalid reasons.
Reasons such as
Well, guess what my response to most of these and all future notifications is? I will ignore them and let Amazon remove the product details and prevent the items from being sold. What is the consequence for this? For me, none. Many of these items are no longer being sold by me since because of competitive pricing, primarily from Amazon Retail, there is no longer sufficient margin for me to invest in and sell these products on Amazon. What is the long term consequence? These products will no longer be sold on Amazon in spite of the fact that they will continue to be available on other marketplaces and individual business websites. The result of that will be that Amazon will steadily deplete the existing catalogue of productive products that are still being produced and those who choose to sell them off Amazon will have effectively eliminated Amazon Retail and those who are not flexible enough to sell on other sales channels than Amazon as competitors.
It really surprises me (though it should not) that Amazon would choose to thoughtfully use technology to eliminate decent products without having some smart humans investigate these items to determine if there was truly any such action required.
This is yet another problem that Amazon invented and is surprised at the result.
Very disappointing.
Could we perhaps rename this to the ‘Earning Seller Trust Team’?
Their current title leads us sellers to wonder if they have a good grip on reality.
