Starting September 15, 2020, Amazon is changing feed processing for the Inventory Feed (_POST_INVENTORY_AVAILABILITY_DATA_) for sellers who are enrolled in the Remote Fulfillment with FBA program. After September 15, 2020, Inventory Feed submissions from these sellers must include the SwitchFulfillmentTo element set to either AFN or MFN. Feeds that do not meet this requirement will fail and the following error message will be returned: "For accounts enrolled in Remote Fulfillment with FBA, the inventory feed SwitchFulfillmentTo element must include the fulfillment channel (AFN for Amazon-fulfilled or MFN for seller-fulfilled)."
This change applies to the US, Canada, and Mexico marketplaces.
Developers with applications that use the Inventory Feed to update listings for sellers who are enrolled in the Remote Fulfillment with FBA program are affected by this change.
If you are affected by this change, be sure to update your application so that it displays and enforces this new requirement.
