Announcements from Day 1 of Amazon Accelerate

Today at Amazon Accelerate, we announced a number of exciting new products, tools, and resources to help you manage and grow your business in Amazon’s store.

Here are some of the Day 1 highlights:

  • Tailored Audiences in Customer Engagement: Currently in beta testing, Tailored Audiences in the Customer Engagement tool will allow U.S. registered brands to expand beyond brand followers to send email marketing campaigns to their repeat, high-spend, and recent Amazon customers for the first time. The solution is expected to be available in the next six months. Go to sell.amazon.com for more information and stay tuned for an announcement soon.
  • Buy with Prime Marketing solutions: We’re piloting new marketing solutions to help direct-to-consumer ecommerce sellers reach engaged Amazon shoppers and help drive sales on their own sites. These solutions are being piloted as part of Buy with Prime, a new program that enables sellers to offer Prime shopping benefits to shoppers off Amazon. Sponsored Brands will allow sellers participating in Buy with Prime to direct shoppers to a new Buy with Prime page within their brand’s Amazon storefront, from which shoppers can preview products and choose to purchase directly from a seller’s off-Amazon site. Co-branded social media ads on Facebook and Instagram will direct Amazon’s followers to a product detail page on a seller’s off-Amazon site where shoppers can purchase directly from them using Buy with Prime. To find out more, go to About Amazon.
  • Customers ask Alexa: We’ve launched a new Alexa-powered capability geared toward helping brands answer common customer questions. When customers pose questions to Alexa, including queries related to a product’s features or compatibilities, Alexa responds with helpful answers provided by brands from those product categories. Customers ask Alexa will be available for a select group of brands beginning October 2022 as an invite-only program, and will become available to all eligible brands in the U.S. in 2023. To find out more, go to About Amazon.

It’s not too late to register now to attend Day 2 of Amazon Accelerate virtually.
