Can anyone confirm that this is just for SFP or is this going to effect all FBM sellers? The news reports seem to go back and forth, possibly a click-baity fear-mongering tactic? All input is appreciated.

Amazon has blocked FedEx for SFP orders.
You can still use FedEx for regular ground shipments.
Amazon hasn’t “blocked” Fedex from anything. They have added a day (or two) to Fedex’s delivery estimates and will not offer the service when it doesn’t look like it will deliver in the promised time frame.
If the promise (to the buyer) is 2 days and the adjusted delivery time is 3 days, the service won’t be offered. This applies to all carriers but Fedex is just the most glaring example at the moment.
Priority Mail has been affected, monday-wednesday, since the dawn of sfp. Does Amazon “block” Priority on those days? Nope … Priority just isn’t offered because Amazon doesn’t believe it will be delivered on-time. Late on Wednesday, Saturday adds an extra shipping day for USPS so Priority works again.
Ground and Home Delivery have been most impacted. I have noticed very few instances that Express is not being offered.
If any service doesn’t meet the delivery promise, it won’t be offered. This applies to any FBM orders, sfp or not.
If we ship “early” and have spare handling time, it decreases the chance of being impacted.
If we wait til the last minute to ship, it increases the chance of being impacted.
SFP will be most impacted because there is little to no handling delay built into the estimated delivery dates.
Crazy thing is that FedEx is delivering on Sundays on large metro areas. Both UPS and FedEx are supposed to make this the norm in January. Hopefully their api will start returning that date. And Amazon can deal with that.
They are not blocking anything they have removed the service for SFP sellers through the holidays to certain zones this is not Fedex specific it is for UPS as well. This should not affect FBM standard orders it is for expedited and prime only> Blockquote
