I’m having an ongoing issue connecting my Payoneer USD receiving account to Amazon as a deposit method, and I’m hoping someone who’s been through this (or a moderator) can point me in the right direction.

Issue summary:

I’m trying to add my Payoneer USD receiving account as my bank account in Amazon Seller Central.

When I enter the routing and account number, Amazon shows an error related to “pending KYC actions” and says the bank account is not eligible for disbursement .

There are no open KYC or verification requests in my Amazon Account Health, Performance Notifications, or Settings.

What Payoneer confirmed:

I contacted Payoneer multiple times and received several written confirmations. In summary, Payoneer has confirmed that:

My Payoneer account is fully verified / KYC completed and in good standing.

There are no pending document or KYC requests on my Payoneer account.

My USD receiving accounts are active and ready to receive Amazon disbursements .

There is nothing further required on the Payoneer side ; the remaining step is for Amazon to recognize and connect the bank details I enter.

Example excerpts from Payoneer support (Customer ID: 102315996):

“I can confirm that your account is fully verified and in good standing, with no pending document requests at this time.”

“Since your Payoneer account and USD receiving details are already fully set up, there is nothing further required on the Payoneer side. The remaining step is for Amazon to recognize and connect the bank details you’ve entered as your payout method.”

What Amazon support has done so far:

I opened a case with Amazon support and explained that Payoneer confirmed my KYC is complete.

Amazon asked me to provide written confirmation from Payoneer, which I did (screenshots and full email threads).

An Amazon Pay Merchant Support agent confirmed that my Payoneer letter was forwarded to the internal verification team and that my case is now under “Amazon action” (Case ID: 20338891831).

It has now been over 24 hours since that escalation, and I still see the same “pending KYC actions” error when trying to add my Payoneer bank account.

Current status:

Payoneer: fully verified, no pending KYC, accounts active.

Amazon: still blocking the Payoneer bank with a KYC-related eligibility error .

Internal verification team: case is pending, no clear ETA or detailed explanation.

My questions to the community:

Has anyone else experienced this specific “pending KYC actions” issue when adding a Payoneer bank account, even though Payoneer confirmed everything is verified?

How long did it take for Amazon’s internal Payments/KYC team to clear the flag and allow the Payoneer account to be used?

Is there a better way to escalate this (e.g., via Account Health, phone support, or a specific team) to get the KYC flag manually cleared?

Is there any known limitation with certain Payoneer receiving accounts (e.g., Citibank USD) being used as deposit methods on Amazon?

Any guidance, similar experiences, or advice on how to get this resolved would be really appreciated. I’m just trying to get my deposit method set up correctly so I can operate my wholesale business normally.

Thank you in advance.

Want help? Provide a case number.
by Seller_kIukTwdhvntAp

WHY YOU NEED A CASE NUMBER

I had another seller hit me with this one a while back – about July, 2026 – when I told someone to provide a case # to get an answer from the MODS.

All times noted in their responses are from that time period.

"Not sure what makes you think you need a case number for MODS to reply. Maybe you are new to Amazon. "

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Well, let me count the ways why --

From @Emet_Amazon 4 hours ago -- "If you have created a case seeking support on this situation, you can post the case ID here so I can look over the situation myself and offer feedback or suggestions moving forward."

From @Casey_Amazon 6 days ago -- "As @NEVERLAST mentioned, please provide a Case ID so I can communicate with the appropriate team to identify the cause of the issue and determine the next steps for reactivating your account."

From @Michelle_Amazon a week ago -- "If you still need help after their investigation is complete, please provide the case ID so we can look into this further."

From @Kam_Amazon a week ago thanking someone for actually getting a case # after I said to do so -- "Hey there, @Seller_1863. Appreciate you bringing this to the forums, and for getting that case number like @NEVERLAST mentioned! "

https://sellercentral.amazon.com/seller-forums/discussions/t/021b2311-57cf-46d7-9b74-729a3c2557c3?postId=b4257560-c978-48c4-9ac4-606d1dc10190

From @Yujiro_Amazon four weeks ago -- "As mentioned by @NEVERLAST, sharing your case ID will help us look into this further. Please post the case number from your June 2 appeal and we can check on the status for you."

https://sellercentral.amazon.com/seller-forums/discussions/t/5c66ce34-81f6-4b68-be00-eba8d0596a42?postId=1d49ee36-030a-48c0-8851-0fea7cd2b3d1

From @Michelle_Amazon a month ago -- If you still have issues, please create your own new discussion and provide your case ID so we can look into this further for you. ."

https://sellercentral.amazon.com/seller-forums/discussions/t/0138ad84-a41a-4b07-9a9e-88753675807e?postId=4cfb8e3f-84f3-4b16-9677-14a0f0e76360

From @Casey_Amazon a month ago -- "Could you please provide the case ID and ASIN associated with the violation for which you submitted a seller challenge? As @NEVERLASTmentioned, this information will allow me to connect with the appropriate team on your behalf."

https://sellercentral.amazon.com/seller-forums/discussions/t/6e0c659a-ecba-4cc4-a1bf-9926ed706bf3?postId=e1937a70-5cce-4f20-905b-07638c62ecc7

From @Levi_Dylan_Amazon a month ago -- "In order to share this with the appropriate team for further review, I'll need a bit more information from you. Could you please create a new case or share an existing case ID related to this issue? When doing so, please include in the case:"

https://sellercentral.amazon.com/seller-forums/discussions/t/6f3ea431-3c6d-477c-8fb2-9783174d5c53?postId=6f5e519b-196b-40ee-aecf-adad5ede7374

From @Yujiro_Amazon a month ago -- "For @UnityBraids, since your issue has been ongoing since March, I recommend opening a new thread with your specific details and case ID so we can look into it separately."

https://sellercentral.amazon.com/seller-forums/discussions/t/6fbab1cc-a90e-4667-838f-5cc670640d41?postId=76b78fea-0685-4fd3-aba9-57053aa236cd

And these just scratch the surface of the hundreds of such mentions by various MODS over the past few years and mostly were easy to find since someone from Amaozn had tagged me.

I could find a few hundred more if I searched through the more than 20,000 discussions I have responded to over the years.

But, on occasion someone gets lucky and does NOT have to furnish one or bother being helpful to the MODS.

As the old saying goes, sometimes even a blind hog can find an acorn.

Hi everyone / Moderators,

One of my ASINs was recently deactivated due to a safety review. The review team is asking me to provide a test report that complies with IEC 60335-2-85 and UL 141 standards, along with the following four specific tests:

Abnormal operation test

Water spray test

Pressure relief test

Thermometer and thermal cutoff test

The problem is, my product does not fall under any category covered by these two standards – my product is not an electrical appliance.

The risk scenarios mentioned in these standards (such as hot water discharge, pressure buildup, thermal failure, etc.) simply do not exist for my product. The entire review framework was never applicable to my product in the first place.

I have already explained this to the review team and provided product images and purchase invoices, but the responses I received have all been generic templates saying "documents are incomplete," with no indication that they have re-evaluated the product classification.

I would really appreciate insights from anyone who has been through something similar:

Does Amazon's safety review automatically apply a standard based on the product category? If the system has misclassified my product and therefore cited irrelevant standards, what is the right channel to request a manual review and correction?

Besides stating that "my product does not belong to this category," what other supporting materials can I provide to demonstrate this?

Is there any precedent of successfully overturning such a mismatch between the applied standard and the actual product? How long did it take?

I am not planning to pay for a test report that has nothing to do with my actual product just to satisfy a checkbox – that would be neither reasonable nor practical. Any advice on how to get the review team to properly re-assess the classification would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi everyone,

We are considering placing our first wholesale order with Velocity Wholesale Supply (velowholesale.com) for resale through Amazon FBA. They state that they support marketplace sellers, provide commercial invoices and LOAs upon request after purchase, require a $3,000 minimum order, and accept payment by ACH.

Has anyone here actually purchased from them? We would appreciate any first-hand feedback about order fulfillment, product authenticity, communication, FBA preparation, and whether their invoices or authorization documents were successfully verified by Amazon. Thank you.

Hello Amazon Forums Team,

My selling account is currently deactivated due to the Seller Code of Conduct / competitor review violation.

I submitted a complete supplemental dispute with supporting evidence on July 29, 2026. The appeal has remained under review since then.

I contacted Account Health Support twice. Both specialists confirmed that internal status/escalation requests were submitted, and I was specifically instructed to wait until August 10.

That waiting period has now passed, but the appeal remains under review and I have received no request for additional information.

Could an Amazon moderator please review the case history and help determine whether the appeal is actively assigned or whether an internal escalation is required?

I am not attempting to submit another appeal. I am only requesting a status/escalation review of the existing submission.

Thank you.

Our Amazon journey started in January 2021. Our business owner was looking for another way to diversify the business. That fell, for the most part in my lap, a lap that never even knew what we were doing was called ecommerce when we started.

Not knowing what we were doing, we took one of the manufacturers that we already worked with in the brick-and-mortar world and started jumping on existing listings, creating some of our own under the brand and seeing what worked. I spent endless hours combing through listings, pricing, adjusting, trying to follow the rules set forth by Amazon. Did we always get it right-no, we did not but rose above it almost every time.

My saving grace was what is known as Seller Forums. So many experienced sellers willing to give advice, help you through a tough patch and generally a community that had been or were going through the trenches, the same as us. Most were very blunt and honest in their interactions, which was welcoming because Amazon can be a tough nut to crack.

That is how I started learning the ins and outs. What is allowed and what is not-from the help of other sellers. The education I got from the forum alone got us to where we are today. We were given the opportunity to become an “authorized reseller” of the brand on Amazon and other market places and haven’t looked back.

Fast forward to September 2025 at Amazon Accelerate-what a whirlwind! We found out that we were in the top percentile of sellers to reach a million dollars-what a trip! Every success story starts out in a lot of failure, trial and error and understanding of the subject matter. Believe me when I say there were a lot of sleepless nights, fixing listings, understanding the giant known as Amazon.

It takes a village, right? To be successful on Amazon, it truly does. We would not be having the best year in the world of ecommerce if it wasn’t for all the “experts” willing to give that tough advice, lend an ear to vent and just be good people then and now.

If you’re early on in your journey and reading this — drop a question below or post a discussion on Forums.

Hello,

I am a seller on the Amazon US marketplace. My account was opened and successfully validated about four months ago. I am contacting you because I am unable to reactivate my seller account due to a persistent system error on the identity verification page. I am requesting a moderator's assistance to escalate this case internally, as standard support channels have failed to resolve it.

Timeline of the issue:

July 1st: I received an email stating that my account had been set to inactive status due to prolonged inactivity, requiring identity verification before reactivation (in accordance with section P-5, Dormant Accounts).

When I click "Reactivate now," I am redirected to an account information page indicating that, to reactivate the account, I must provide business information: an identity document and a bank statement.

I was then redirected to the identity verification process. Every attempt redirects me to the "Business Information" page with an error message ("verification failed"), preventing any document submission. This behavior is 100% reproducible.

Troubleshooting already performed:

Cleared cache, cookies, and browser data

Tested on multiple browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox) and in private browsing mode

Tested from multiple devices and networks

Used all reactivation links provided in official communications

On mobile, clicking "Reactivate account" displays a list of sections (Identity, Phone Number, Bank Account, Business Address, Tax ID Number), but only the "Identity" section is clickable. Clicking it redirects me to the same "Business Information" page with the same verification failure message, creating the same loop as on the desktop.

Result:

The error persists consistently with every attempt, across all devices tested. This is not a browser- or user-related issue—it indicates a verification flow (identity/KYC step) that is blocked or failing on the backend.

Support history:

Opened a case explaining the technical issue — no resolution.

Contacted Seller Support by phone twice; both times, I received automated responses stating the inquiry did not concern identity verification, even though the issue is precisely the verification process itself.

During a third call, an Account Health support representative (Priya) confirmed the issue and transferred the case to a specialized team, with an update expected within 5–7 business days. That timeframe has passed without any update.

On August 3, I submitted a comprehensive appeal (Case 21445316571) including my Plan of Action, passport, Articles of Organization, business and personal bank statements, EIN confirmation letter (147C), and Letter of Authorization. The case status remains "In Progress" with no follow-up notes.

For context, here are the cases previously opened regarding this same issue (either closed or resulting in automated responses):

July 9 21054340311 Case opened via written message

July 17 21218007371 Case opened via phone

July 18 21233489051 Case opened via written message

July 19 21246054521 Case opened via phone

August 4 21469567601 Case opened via phone

Business impact:

I am unable to create shipment plans or send inventory to fulfillment centers.

This is currently blocking all business activity associated with this account.

Request:

Please escalate this case to the internal Account Health / Verification technical team. Please reset or manually restart the verification process for my account, provide a working verification link, or enable manual document submission.

Please confirm that the escalation is being handled and provide a case ID for the ticket being processed by the appropriate internal team.

@Seller_8hQgfj6OVZYse, @Seller_5zI0wsS66MHFL, @Seller_dnxnrsZIeTNo3, @Seller_hzIJKXzwjDVso, @Seller_dQovmyDrC13de, @Seller_lmwzklfLOK2Ob, @Seller_l7Jtck9jxnEA0, @Seller_Udi0JNbTrsmUV, @Seller_ZyGdB49sb7An4, @Seller_RSwABJNHpHnEZ

Active Case ID: 21445316571 (Case opened via written correspondence, including the action plan)

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,

Problem Description: All site authentications have received verification approval emails. However, every time one site's verification is submitted, it triggers verification prompts for other sites, creating an unbreakable verification loop.

Measures taken: Compared the business information and tax information of all sites to confirm that the information is the same.

Abnormal situation: During registration, the system accepted addresses in Chinese and Pinyin formats, but the verification email from the Canadian site indicated that all addresses must "use Latin characters only." Through Settings → Business Information, it is not possible to modify the original address format; when adding a new address, the system prompts "please fill in using Chinese."

Reason for identity verification: Company name change, other information remains unchanged

I have consulted the seller support team many times, but the problem has never been resolved. I believe there are many friends who are troubled by this issue like me, so I am posting it on the forum for everyone to discuss, hoping to help more people. Thank you for your participation and support.

About

About New Seller Community

Welcome to the New Seller Community, we're excited you're here!

As a new seller and member of the community, you'll have the ability to ask questions, get advice from peers, and learn from educational posts highlighting best practices and programs available to help you sell in Amazon's store during your first 18 months. We hope you'll become an active member by posting, commenting, and sharing your experience with other new sellers. Once a seller reaches 18 months of being part of the New Seller Community, they will be automatically removed from the group and will be provided an in-forum notification once removed.

Just getting started? We recommend visiting these threads to acquaint yourself with the New Seller Community.
Welcome to the New Seller Community

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Who is eligible for membership in the New Seller Community and how can I join?
Only sellers registered to sell in Amazon's store for less than 18 months are eligible to participate in the New Seller group. You will be automatically added to this group based on your eligibility. You will receive a notification before you are removed from the group.
  2. I'm new to selling in Amazon's store. Why don't I have access to this group?
We're adding new sellers to the group every few days, so there might be a short delay between the time you're approved and when you can post. If you don't yet have access, please check back in a couple of days. In the meantime, we encourage you to visit other threads in Seller Forums to ask a question or take part in a discussion.
  3. Who can contribute and post in the New Seller Community?
All Seller Forums members can read New Seller group threads but only group members can post or interact in the New Seller group.
  4. Can I still post and engage in the larger Amazon seller forum after I leave the New Seller Community?
Absolutely! The purpose of this change is not to remove you from the broader seller community. After your 18-month tenure is up and you transition out of the New Seller group, you'll still be able to participate fully in the general Amazon seller forums just like all of thousands of other sellers who are not a part of a group today.
  5. What is the reasoning behind this 18-month tenure?
The New Seller Community group was created to provide specialized support and resources for individuals who are new to selling with Amazon. After 18 months, we've found that most sellers have developed a solid foundation and are ready to engage beyond just the "new seller" designation and even have the ability to share their experiences and guidance with others. Transitioning members out of the New Seller group at that 18-month mark allows us to keep the community focused on supporting those who are truly in the earliest stages of their Amazon selling journey. It ensures the group remains useful and welcoming for new sellers coming in. Of course, just because you leave the New Seller group doesn't mean you lose access to the wealth of information and community support available to all Amazon sellers.
  6. How do I opt-out of the New Seller Community?
If you decide you don't want to be a member of the New Seller group, you may opt-out here at any time. Please note that removal can take up to 7 business days.
