Good day, dear people,
I am very new to Amazon selling and need help navigating the Brand Approval process.
I sell Miyuki beads from Japan. I buy from an authorized distributor in the US. However, I keep getting denied when I apply to use the brand name "Miyuki".
My first try, I submitted a copy of an invoice showing that I had placed a large order with the distributor. My name and address on the account on the invoice perfectly matches the name and address on file with Amazon. I was rejected saying the information was insufficient.
For second attempt, I took 10 invoices and merged them all into one PDF file for the ease of uploading. I thought 10 invoices would prove a pattern of purchases. This time I was rejected because "it appears that the files were tampered with”. The PDF files came directly in email from the distributor, and the only manipulation I did was to merge them into one file.
I know that Amazon uses AI to screen some of these requests but how do you get past AI to a human with common sense? I requested that they call me to try and straighten this out, but they just rejected my request again.
I tried a third time to answer the last rejection, but I was not allowed to upload any files. The app let me navigate to where the files were, but would not let me select them. So I cannot upload the individual files proving that they were not tampered with.
I'm very glad that name brands are protected fiercely by Amazon, but when you are on the wrong side of that ferocity clamoring to get in, it can be very frustrating. I know I should enter my case ID, but I'm afraid that if I navigate away from this window I will lose everything I've written. So I will post this, and then go find the case ID and append it or put it in a comment.
Thank for trying to help
