Why is it so hard to list stuff???
by Seller_jbDqtGJ5WF591

I can’t list any of my products anymore due to the things asked for my products. I just tried to list some cupcake toppers and when I chose party supplies, then cupcake topper, it labeled it as the health department, I went back in, changed it a little bit, it took me to the sports labels, when I finally get past the type of product I get hit with manufacturer numbers, part numbers and codes, it’s handmade so I don’t have that. I even tried copying an existing product and it asked me for my products type, components and manufacturer ID. It’s just some princess cupcake toppers, how do we get past this because I can’t list my products like this. It won’t let me. I have watched the video but I encourage anyone who answers this to try to list a cupcake topper.

@Seller_FJwyF3iu5qxUY

Can you please intervene on this case? CASE 18872901561

They just closed it again. I need one ASIN moved to a different product type. It was moved to the wrong product type when it was reclassified. It is a child ASIN and I have tried all the self help too too, it still wont budge.

Now they have closed the case again with this BOGUS RESPONSE:

Hello from Amazon Selling Partner Support,

Thank you for contacting us, Kathy This is Fernanda, I am a Live Channel Specialist.

I understand your request to update the product type for ASIN xxxx.

After a thorough review, we are unable to make the requested product type change at this time because there is an existing contribution from another seller that we cannot override. This prevents us from updating the product type as requested.

No further action can be taken on this request at this time. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

Thank you for selling with Amazon.

To help us continually improve, we ask that you take a moment to complete our survey below to tell us about your experience with this specific interaction.

Were you satisfied with the support provided?

I am a brand owner, I am the only contributor to the ASIN, I am handmade.

Can you please help?

Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone here has run into this before, because Seller Support hasn’t been able to give me a clear answer and I’m starting to worry about my handling-time settings.

I recently added around 175 new Handmade listings in a new category for me. They’re all individual designs (no variations), FBM, and all using my same shipping template with a 5-day handling time.

Here’s the problem:

Every time one of these new designs sells for the first time, Amazon is overriding my 5-day handling time and assigning a 1-day ship-by date on the order. The handling time on the listing itself still shows 5 days, and the template is definitely correct. But the actual order shows a “Ship by: Tomorrow” type of deadline that doesn’t match anything I’ve set.

This has happened on every first sale for each design so far. I haven’t had a second sale of any of them yet, so I don’t know if this is a “first-sale only” glitch or something broader.

A few things I’ve already checked:

Not Production Time (I don’t even have that field — only Handling Time).

My shipping template is correct and active.

No automation or overrides are turned on.

I don’t have any setting that lets Amazon calculate handling times for me.

The template name is greyed out but correct (“US template”).

The issue only appears when a SKU sells for the first time. (I haven’t had a second sale of any of them yet)

I did open a case with Support, but they told me they can’t escalate this, and the replies I’ve gotten so far haven’t addressed the issue. So I’m hoping someone with more experience or maybe a moderator who’s seen backend behavior like this before might be able to point me in the right direction.

Before I panic about future shipments or my LSR, I’m really hoping this is something known in Handmade or related to first-time sales in a new category. If anyone has seen this happen or knows what triggers it, I’d be so grateful for any insight.

Thank you so much!

Jennette

Is anyone else having this issue?

(What do you need help with?

Several of my listings keep going out of stock when one sells, but inventory is calculated at a higher number, example 12, but one sells and it goes to sold out.

Ihave included the ASINs that I know it happened to, there was 8 in the list, but I can't remember the others.

What steps have you taken already?

I have updated thelistings with the inventory I have available but one sells an it goes right back to sold out. )

This is happening now for three days.

Today it took almost 2hours before it weirdly put it out of stock again. I put it at 12 yesterday, 1 sold today, and then almost 2hours later it moved to sold out.

This is happening with listings with customizations.

GTIN exemption rejection
by Seller_ZlPRFzz7NoJOf

I have been applying for a GTIN exemption on handmade earrings. Our supporting photographs show our earrings packaged on our branded business card. We are being rejected for the following reasons and do not understand how to address these issues -

1. The submitted images do not show all sides of the product (front, back, left, right, top, and bottom views are required).....our dangling earrings look the same from front and back, they do not have a right or left side, and top and bottom views are not applicable to the wearer.

2. The images provided are not real-world photos..... Please define "real-world", because we have submitted all our photos on white as is required for all Amazon product photos.

3. The brand name is not permanently affixed to the product....There is no possible way to permanently affix our brand name to any of our jewelry products. We attach all our items on a card with our brand logo and information.

Please clarify how to comply with these policies on jewelry - thanks in advance for your help.

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to understand what is happening after the November 1st reclassification, because in my account the situation is becoming very alarming. Since the reclassification, I’ve been closely monitoring my Sales Rank performance, and every single day it keeps dropping dramatically across almost all listings.

Here is what I’m seeing in just two weeks:

Nov 1: ~5,678

Nov 5: ~8,489

Nov 7: ~12,489

Nov 10: ~23,467

Nov 15: ~45,765

Today: almost 70,600

Nothing on my end has changed — same prices, same stock, same categories, same shipping, same traffic patterns. But as soon as Amazon moved our items onto the “general pages” after reclassification, the decline started and hasn’t stopped.

Today again… 0 sales out of almost 2,000 active items.

This never happened before the reclassification.

Is anyone else seeing the same collapse in Sales Rank and visibility since November 1st?

Is this expected after reclassification, or is something broken in the system?

Amazon, if anyone from the moderation team is reading this — we really need clarity.

When will we see the improvements that were promised with the reclassification?

Right now the opposite is happening, and many of us are watching our businesses fall apart day by day.

Would appreciate hearing from other sellers experiencing the same drop.

Case 18941477841 The template has always been the answer

Dear Sir,

Thank you so much for your help, my handmade account missed the best time to put it up and caused the sales sale to be closed. This will be my worst decision.

We are a small company specializing in handmade and useful with our own design studio. Will regularly bring new and different pieces to our customers. Amazon handmade is a bigger stage, we are eager to join again. We are eager to join in again and make the products bring experience to more users.

Sincerely thank you for your support, we are a professional DIY handmade material supplier. We were ecstatic when we learned that we had successfully registered our crafts category, but the joy lasted only one day - Amazon closed our crafts category store for no reason. As a professional DIY handmade material supplier, we are very excited to join the Amazon Crafts category. Please revisit our entry profile.

Depending on the reason of crafts selling privilege canceled, you may need to provide the following information:

1. A detailed description of your production process.

1. Prepare related materials: scissors, vase, different colors of twisted sticks, floral wire, floral tape, decorative small cards, round wooden sticks

2. Small persimmon production:

a. Choose two orange 25cm twisted rods and link them together. Twist one end of the stick around the round wooden stick. Continue until Wrap the twisters around the sticks. 3. Compact. Cancel the twisters and the twisters become spring-like.

b. There is a green twisted stick that goes through the springy twisted stick, keeping 3cm at one end, and using the other end, go through the springy twisted stick again, coming out in the center. Tighten the green twisted rod into a loop.

c. In the green twisted rod, twist out 4 small fan-shaped flower brackets once again to complete the production of a small persimmon. Repeat a, b and c to make 6 different sized persimmons.

3. Leaf production:

a, choose a green twisted stick, cut into 4 sections, take out a section, and then the center position of the folded "Z" shape, with a section of the again twisted, to make a green bud.

b,small leaf making, take 1/4 of the green twisted rod, fold it in half, then twist one end to make a small green leaf, repeat b to make the same leaf

c,take out a complete green twisted rod, fold it in half, then in 1/3, twist the rod, once again flip the twisted rod to the top, complete to make a large leaf making, repeat the action in a leaf spare

4. Single small persimmon bouquet production:

a, take a piece of floral wire, use floral tape to wrap around the wire, at the top 2cm, take out a small green bud, the end of the bud, close to the wire, use floral tape to fix the bud on the wire, continue to wrap down. Continue wrapping down the wire. Add a small persimmon 2cm down, repeat this to bind all the persimmons and green leaves. Masking This gives you a bouquet with 6 small persimmons.

5. Repeat 2.3.4 to make 8 differentiated persimmon bouquets.

6. Put into a vase, adjust the direction of the bouquet, every angle can see the small persimmon bouquet, add a small decorative card, complete the handmade decorative flower production!

2. The number of your employees and their roles.

There are only three people in the team, the company's founder is mainly responsible for Amazon operations, product development, purchasing, handmade products, shipping, etc. There are also two employees, who are mainly responsible for product production. There are two other employees, mainly responsible for product production

3. The number of items you can produce in a week.

98 handmade categories can be produced per week

4. Three to five photos or video that show the production process for items you intend to list.

Please refer to the attached drawings which document every important detail. To make sure that every picture, make sure that you have taken it yourself. anDear is the name of my store and is the only identification.

5. Any additional details you would like us to know to better understand your business or craft.

It's a handmade gift that makes a great gift and a great home decoration.

In the fast-paced modern life, DIY is becoming more and more people's way to relax and express their emotions. In the fast-paced modern life, DIY is becoming a healing way for more and more people to relax and express their emotions. Among them, the handmade twisted persimmons with the theme of “Persimmons as you wish” have quickly become popular in the circle of friends because of their good meaning, warm texture and zero threshold operation, and have become a creative carrier for passing blessings.

In the modern home aesthetics of Europe and the United States, there is a growing desire for nature, tranquility and uniqueness. We have skillfully integrated persimmons, a symbol of “good fortune” in traditional Chinese culture, into a design language that meets Western aesthetics to create this unique handmade persimmon ceramic artwork, Persimmon Ruyi.

Our quality is very advantageous and we kindly ask Amazon to give us a chance to re-sell our products.

Sincerely

May you be happy every day!

Starting from a few days ago my visits dropped 3 folds together with featured offer % which was 98-100 % consistently since I started to begin selling my products in Amazon.

Featured offer % dropped to 38 % then to 20 %!.

My products are "unique" handmade products, sold only by me (and I always shipped and delivered well before expected dates). That is, there can't be any other competitor that can offer a more competitive price for any of my products. Why and how featured offer % drops in such a case?

Is it something related with migration of listings from "guild" to standard "toys"? If so, it effected my visibility (and the sales) very badly, the effect is just the opposite to what Amazon was saying about this migration.

I wonder whether or not anyone else (handmade toy maker) has similar experience?

new to forums but need help
by Seller_mYmjaCn4wxt5b

Amazon incorrectly put product code Collectible Cards, needs permission, on my Playing Card Holders for the elderly. and made listing inactive. This was 6 weeks ago. I have been on chat 5 times and they change product code to Toys and Games and promise listing will be active in 24-48 hours. I think I am caught in a loop because one chat sent it to "investigation". On inactive listing says I have to fill out application to sell collectible cards and when you click on that it says they aren't taking applications. I don't sell collectible cards - these are card holders for elderly and kids. 6 weeks of busiest time of year is just unreasonable. What can I do to get out of loop and get Amazon to correct their error? Thanks for any suggestions.

Hello,

I am a Handmade seller and I am facing an issue with an A-to-Z Guarantee claim for order 113-8883450-8421014.

The order was delivered according to UPS Proof of Delivery:

• Tracking: 1Z5EY7350494711176

• Delivered: October 9 at 12:39 PM

• Location: Front Door

• Delivered 11 days before the EDD

Despite this, the A-to-Z team refunded the buyer and rejected the appeal.

My main problem:

The SAFE-T claim option does not appear in my account, so I cannot submit a reimbursement request even though the order was clearly delivered.

I contacted support, but they said I must create a SAFE-T claim myself — which is impossible because the SAFE-T submission option is missing from the UI.

Can Amazon please confirm:

1) Whether Handmade sellers should have access to SAFE-T claims for delivered-order A-to-Z errors?

2) If permissions for SAFE-T can be enabled on my account?

3) Whether this case can be escalated to the A-to-Z Leadership Review team?

Thank you for any guidance.
