Why can't the products that have been re-activated in my store appear on the buyer's side, but the store shows that they have been listed for sale, what's going on?

Hello @Seller_PIHyltK09pbl3 and @Seller_QTT5oP45IFvQZ

I am reaching out for urgent assistance regarding a seller hijacking my listing.

A Chinese seller ("HAOXIN SHOP") is currently counterfeiting our product on our ASIN. Because our USPTO trademark is currently in a pending status, Brand Registry denied our IP infringement claim.

To address this, I performed a test buy and submitted a report via Account Health -> Report Abuse.

Complaint ID: 20420826351

Issue: The test buy clearly shows that the product sold by "HAOXIN SHOP" is counterfeit and does not match our ASIN listing (photos were attached to the complaint).

It has been almost a week since I filed this complaint, and no action has been taken. This hijacker is actively selling fake products to our customers, which puts us at an immediate risk of receiving negative reviews that could destroy our business.

Could you please look into Complaint ID: 20420826351 and help us remove this unauthorized seller?

Thank you in advance for your time and assistance.

Best regards,

Fake Negative Review
by Seller_mQX94ukl5kWpI
Amazon replied

I am battleing with Fake Negative Review posted on all my listings by an individual who lied about the review possbily sponsored by competitor. This individual took advantage of Amazon policy when buying 50 dollars or more, you can safetly descreetly leave any review without verification. She bught item on 5/24 and posted negative review on 5/26 only two days later saying, "after a week, it died?!!" ??? and left same negative review on my other item without actually purchasing that item. Amazon should do a job of screening these fake paid criminals and pinalize the merchant sho sponsor these types of ill activity. After spending newarly 3 days so many hours with Agent, I was finally asked to write a letter to Community-Help@amazon.com Loosing confident doing business on Amazon. Could use some advice. Any experienced the same??

Why is putting an item on sale so cumbersome?
by Seller_LaXfWb19u77C5

Am I missing something? Outside of bulk-use inventory files, is the only way to put an individual item on sale by "editing" each item every time? Amazon added a new pricing tool on the inventory page.... why not allow sellers to put items on sale from the all inventory page? Add quick options or better yet custom quick-sale options that allow sellers to set a discount amount + length of time. If an item isn't selling well, sellers can then easily from the inventory page, check off which sale you want to run and the sale is created.

Are there ways to put an item on sale on the app? Can't seem to do that either.

Also, when on the FBA Inventory management page, you can only put an item on sale when Amazon "suggests" it... make the option standard.

Putting an item on sale seems like basic functionality, but it's over complicated.

Fake Buyer Review
by Seller_EI6tGetYuaC05
Amazon replied

Hello Support,

I'm writing to report a negative feedback left on my ASIN B0F4893WW9. The buyer's name is Chris Crabtree (maybe a fake name as I cannot find this name on my order list). He left 1-star rating for every single item he purchased within a short period of time.

This looks like a fake buyer account. There are businesses that post negative feedback on competitors' products to make money, and I believe this account is part of that practice. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only seller reporting this account.

I tried to report abuse on back stage but the systme force me to input order ID, there is no way to know an order ID by just a review.

I hope Amazon can remove this feedback and take action against the account. It creates an unfair trading environment on the platform and doesn't reflect a real buying experience for other customers.

Thanks for your help.

Why Fake Reviews Thrive on Amazon
by Seller_xo4Akj7FBBnfC
Amazon replied

A nasty side effect of Amazon's decision to block outside services that examine product listings — presumably to protect its advertising revenue — is that it effectively killed review fraud detectors like Mozilla's Fakespot.

The few remaining “fake review detector” websites appear to be fakes themselves.

For example, the Nullfake website — whose affiliate-link revenue model seems like an obvious conflict of interest — failed to flag the listings of seller NNPCBT. One of that seller’s product pages, packed with obvious fake reviews, was shut down last week — and their remaining listings look similarly suspect.

Given Amazon’s vast IT infrastructure and direct access to listing data, it should be straightforward for the company to analyze relationships among sellers, products, reviews, and reviewers to detect fraud with high accuracy.

Yet this forum is flooded with complaints about fake reviews, Amazon’s enforcement seems much weaker than you’d expect, and in cases like the seller noted above, Amazon appears to have shut down one deceptive listing without suspending the seller's account — possibly because fake reviews drive revenue.

Other than inspecting reviews ourselves for patterns of obvious fraud — like a lot of blocked reviewer histories, a high percentage of reviewers who leave only 5-star reviews for weirdly unrelated products, or sudden bursts of reviews in a short period of time — has anyone found a reliable way to spot review fraud?

Fake Clicks
by Seller_tP70XByk5QpGi
Amazon replied

I am a small/new business owner dealing with what appears to be a sabotage campaign. Every time my product hits the "100 sold" milestone or my ads take off, a wave of coordinated attacks begins.

I am stuck in a "Report Abuse" loop with Seller Support and desperately need advice on how to escalate this to a team that can actually investigate. I might ad this all got really bad after I my ad was accompanied by a 'Staff Choice' badge. (I don't recall the exact wording).

1. Severe Ad Click Fraud (Ad Budget Draining)

The Issue: Example - I have a highly optimized multi-product ad campaign where a $100 budget used to comfortably last all day with great conversion.

The Pattern: Right after my best sales days, this exact same ad will blast through my budget—sometimes $300+—in just 2 to 3 hours with near-zero sales. Often follow '100 sold in the past month' badge.

Evidence Example: Today one ad went from 424 impressions to 5,529 in one hour and 10 minuted, clicks skyrocketed and 0 orders ( on my best performing ad). That is a 1,200%+ explosion in traffic velocity.

2. Review Sabotage

The Issue: I am being hit with "faceless" 1-star reviews.

The Pattern: Often when I get a wave of positive organic reviews, a generic 1-star review follows. I’ve had to spend $600 on Vine enrollment just to dilute these fake negatives.

3. Targeted Return Abuse

The Issue: I recently earned the "Customer usually keeps this item" banner on a product that historically has a very low return rate.

The Pattern: Within days of getting the badge, I two back-to-back random "Not Wanted" returns, immediately stripping the badge away. I've also had returns with false facts on my products, of which Amazon has removed one of.

My Question for the Community & Mods:

Is there a specific department, email address, or escalation path to get a human to investigate this? The generic "Report Abuse" links are going nowhere, and I am bleeding money defending my listing from what are clearly coordinated, non-human/bot attacks.

Has anyone successfully stopped click fraud or targeted return attacks? Any advice is deeply appreciated.
