Hello Amazon Moderators,
I am requesting assistance with Case ID 21821789581 regarding an existing Cartier ASIN that was previously active.
ASIN: B000F3VSN0
Brand: Cartier
Model: Tank Française W51007Q4
SKU: W51007Q4 2
GTIN: 7612456002205
This is not a request to create a new ASIN. The existing ASIN is being blocked because Amazon states that the GTIN owner does not directly match the Cartier brand.
Seller Support requested proof of affiliation between Cartier and Richemont International Distribution, the GS1 owner of GTIN 7612456002205.
During Case 21821789581, we have provided extensive official documentation, including:
• Verified by GS1 showing GTIN 7612456002205 licensed to Richemont International Distribution
• Official Swiss government records showing Richemont International Distribution is a branch of Richemont International SA
• Cartier’s official website showing Cartier International AG is a branch of Richemont International SA
• Richemont’s official website identifying Cartier as one of its Maisons
• USPTO documentation linking Cartier International AG and Richemont International SA
• An official government record naming Cartier and Richemont International Distribution together
• A Paris Court of Appeal decision expressly stating that Richemont International SA distributes and organizes the promotion of Cartier products through its branch Richemont International Distribution
Seller Support has reviewed these documents but continues to require a single trademark registration, signed legal agreement, Letter of Affiliation, or official brand/manufacturer website directly naming both Cartier and Richemont International Distribution.
Because this concerns an existing Cartier catalog ASIN, and the GTIN itself is GS1-verified, could an Amazon moderator please review Case 21821789581 and escalate this to the appropriate Catalog/GTIN team for manual review?
I am not attempting to create a duplicate ASIN or use an unrelated barcode. I am trying to restore an existing ASIN using its legitimate existing GTIN.
-----There is also a separate button cell battery compliance issue for this same ASIN.-----
We submitted the requested button cell battery compliance documentation on August 31, 2026, under Case ID 21821112721.
This compliance case is separate from the GTIN/brand issue above. However, the documentation has now been under review longer than we normally experience for similar button cell battery submissions.
If possible, could an Amazon moderator also please check Case 21821112721 and determine whether the battery compliance review is still progressing normally or whether it requires escalation? We have already provided the requested documentation and would appreciate clarification on why the review is taking longer than usual.
Any assistance with reviewing or escalating these two separate issues would be greatly appreciated.
GTIN/catalog: Case 21821789581
Button-cell compliance: Case 21821112721
Thank you,
Todd
