Hello Amazon Moderators,

I am requesting assistance with Case ID 21821789581 regarding an existing Cartier ASIN that was previously active.

ASIN: B000F3VSN0

Brand: Cartier

Model: Tank Française W51007Q4

SKU: W51007Q4 2

GTIN: 7612456002205

This is not a request to create a new ASIN. The existing ASIN is being blocked because Amazon states that the GTIN owner does not directly match the Cartier brand.

Seller Support requested proof of affiliation between Cartier and Richemont International Distribution, the GS1 owner of GTIN 7612456002205.

During Case 21821789581, we have provided extensive official documentation, including:

• Verified by GS1 showing GTIN 7612456002205 licensed to Richemont International Distribution

• Official Swiss government records showing Richemont International Distribution is a branch of Richemont International SA

• Cartier’s official website showing Cartier International AG is a branch of Richemont International SA

• Richemont’s official website identifying Cartier as one of its Maisons

• USPTO documentation linking Cartier International AG and Richemont International SA

• An official government record naming Cartier and Richemont International Distribution together

• A Paris Court of Appeal decision expressly stating that Richemont International SA distributes and organizes the promotion of Cartier products through its branch Richemont International Distribution

Seller Support has reviewed these documents but continues to require a single trademark registration, signed legal agreement, Letter of Affiliation, or official brand/manufacturer website directly naming both Cartier and Richemont International Distribution.

Because this concerns an existing Cartier catalog ASIN, and the GTIN itself is GS1-verified, could an Amazon moderator please review Case 21821789581 and escalate this to the appropriate Catalog/GTIN team for manual review?

I am not attempting to create a duplicate ASIN or use an unrelated barcode. I am trying to restore an existing ASIN using its legitimate existing GTIN.

-----There is also a separate button cell battery compliance issue for this same ASIN.-----

We submitted the requested button cell battery compliance documentation on August 31, 2026, under Case ID 21821112721.

This compliance case is separate from the GTIN/brand issue above. However, the documentation has now been under review longer than we normally experience for similar button cell battery submissions.

If possible, could an Amazon moderator also please check Case 21821112721 and determine whether the battery compliance review is still progressing normally or whether it requires escalation? We have already provided the requested documentation and would appreciate clarification on why the review is taking longer than usual.

Any assistance with reviewing or escalating these two separate issues would be greatly appreciated.

GTIN/catalog: Case 21821789581

Button-cell compliance: Case 21821112721

Thank you,

Todd

Why can't the products that have been re-activated in my store appear on the buyer's side, but the store shows that they have been listed for sale, what's going on?

Great small business support by Amazon, LOVE it!!
by Seller_GLeNc8q4fBGvw

Hi Amazon,

We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you for the absolutely essential support you provide to small sellers like us. We truly cannot thank you enough. You are doing an outstanding job of crushing small businesses like ours, all for the perfectly valid reasons you have available to justify it.

The reason for this lovely post is that Amazon is selling similar product (under Amazon Essentials) that we source directly from a manufacturer. Under our listing, Amazon displays its own Amazon essentials offer, indicating that it is more competitively priced, while simultaneously flagging our offer with a High Price violation, suppressing our Featured Offer eligibility, and negatively impacting our sales (this is the exact moment when love at first sight happens).

I am sure Amazon moderators will review this post, so please take a look at the following cases for additional details:

Case ID: 20929629061

Case ID: 20929546421

Case ID: 20893952611

Case ID: 20929732281

Our question to our "beloved, dear Amazon" is simple: How exactly are we supposed to meet Amazon's competitive pricing threshold "expectations" when our sourcing cost, shipping cost to our warehouse, prep costs, shipping costs to Amazon, FBA fees, referral fees, customer refunds, and customer-damaged inventory (not even including all indirect operating costs) already result in a break-even selling price that is well above Amazon's competitive price threshold?

That threshold effectively requires us to beat (our beloved) Amazon's own selling price. How are we expected to do that while remaining profitable?

Once again, thank you, Amazon, for your tremendous support, as now you can earn even more by making our inventory stuck at your warehouse for months and we are stuck with thousands worth of inventory!

Hello @Seller_PIHyltK09pbl3 and @Seller_QTT5oP45IFvQZ

I am reaching out for urgent assistance regarding a seller hijacking my listing.

A Chinese seller ("HAOXIN SHOP") is currently counterfeiting our product on our ASIN. Because our USPTO trademark is currently in a pending status, Brand Registry denied our IP infringement claim.

To address this, I performed a test buy and submitted a report via Account Health -> Report Abuse.

Complaint ID: 20420826351

Issue: The test buy clearly shows that the product sold by "HAOXIN SHOP" is counterfeit and does not match our ASIN listing (photos were attached to the complaint).

It has been almost a week since I filed this complaint, and no action has been taken. This hijacker is actively selling fake products to our customers, which puts us at an immediate risk of receiving negative reviews that could destroy our business.

Could you please look into Complaint ID: 20420826351 and help us remove this unauthorized seller?

Thank you in advance for your time and assistance.

Best regards,

Don't you just love customers like this?

Had a customer send me this today:

I realize the return window has passed. I have had a month of heartache and issues, 3 day hospital stay for heart issues, death of my kitty, cancer diagnosis of biopsy of small spot on my arm with subsequent surgery with 3.5" scar, and this week - diagnosis of colon cancer. Last week I took out your Zeiss loope to bring with me to local jewelry store to work with their bench jeweler (I am also a bench jeweler). I was SHOCKED to discover this $75 Zeiss loope is made of PLASTIC with not the clarity I expected. So... before I give a disappointing review, I thought I'd give you the opportunity to resolve this with me, despite my being past the 30 day return window. Thank you for your time.

They can't just ask to return the item they make up a story about having cancer which honestly I don't know is true or not and then they threaten you with a negative review if you do not accommodate them. So what would you do?

Understanding how customers shop can help you make smarter decisions about your listings, pricing, and fulfillment strategy.

Here are three trends transforming how shoppers use their devices, purchase internationally, and pay at checkout:

  • Mobile dominates shopping, but conversion still lags. 91% of shoppers now use smartphones to browse and buy, yet mobile converts at less than half the rate of desktop (1.53% vs. 3.4%) due to smaller screens and checkout friction. Mobile already accounts for over half of all cross-border purchases globally. Use Manage Your Experiments to A/B test mobile-optimized main images, titles, and A+ Content layouts to help close the conversion gap.
  • Cross-border shopping is mainstream. Three in five shoppers globally now purchase from retailers outside their home market. Enroll in Amazon Global Selling to list your products across 19+ international marketplaces from a unified Seller Central account, with automatic translation and local currency pricing.
  • Buy now, pay later is reshaping checkout behavior. Over a third of US shoppers made a buy now, pay later purchase in the past 90 days. This is a five-point increase year over year. In the UK, more than half of adults have now used buy now, pay later. Use Virtual Product Bundles (available to Brand Registered sellers) to create multi-item bundles that bring cart totals above the eligibility threshold.

Got this email tonight. I've had no returns in 2026 so that's not a reason. My return address isn't incorrect because It has not changed since the day I signed up on Amazon so that's not a reason. I have 1 package type I use when I ship through Amazon's buy shipping it's a flat 7" x 5" mailer that weighs 4 oz. The dimensions and weight never change so that's not a reason.

The only reason I can come up with is Amazon, and this happens frequently, is always behind on getting their buy shipping rates synced up with USPS rates and there were a bunch of small shortages on the cost that added up during this time frame, due to Amazons fault for not getting things set up right on time. These types of adjustments Amazon should have to eat as it is their system printing labels with the incorrect amounts. Granted it's overall a small amount for that 3 month period, but sellers should not be responsible for Amazons lack of preparedness when they have a very long time in advance to bake in the correct rates and on go day they can just turn them on in an instant, but I have noticed sometimes Amazon goes weeks before they catch up on new rates. Do better Amazon__________________________________________________________________________________________

Hello,

USPS assessed shipping correction charges totaling -19.92 on Fulfilled by Merchant labels you purchased on Buy Shipping between 01_01_2026 and 03_31_2026. You'll be charged for these corrections between 09_07_2026 and 09_10_2026.

USPS applies these charges when the dimensions or weight of a package don't match the label, or when your return address is incorrect or invalid. These charges may not appear in the same settlement period as the original shipment.

View your charges: Go to your Payments Dashboard. In Transaction View, filter by Shipping services purchased through Amazon, then search for "Adjustment" in the Product Details column.

Avoid future correction charges: Confirm that your products' dimensions, weight, and return address are listed correctly in Seller Central.

For more information, go to Carrier shipping correction charges.

I just love it when Amazon rips me off. Do you?

1 I sold an 87.00 shrink wrapped book.

2 the customer returned the book as no longer needed.

3 we received the return taking photos all the way through.

4. The book was no longer shrink wrapped

5 the book appeared to have been read.

6 the cover of the book was bent

7. The corners were dinged and bent.

8 the book could no longer be sold as new.

9 based on the returned condition we could sell it at very good at 19.75 tops

10 Our LOSS amounted to 67.00

11 Amazon based on our info, description and photos gave us back 13.00

12 87.00 less 13.91 = 73.09 (-19.95 resell at used very good) 53.14 Loss

Anyone see a problem here? 87.00 less 13.91 Amazon reimbursement = 73.09 Loss

Reimbursement Amount: $13.91

SAFE-T Claim ID: 71617-19274-1543954

Reason: Amazon damaged

It seems Amazon's motto is: "Make the customer happy no matter what but screw the seller any way you can. " There is already an issue out there with dishonest (criminal) buyers and Amazon being an accessory by contributing to this criminality on the Internet marketplace.

I have heard and read about this kind of situation once too often on Amazon. Maybe we should all remove our higher priced items from Amazon and only sell them on well behaved platforms. Even EBay has a better seller policy. That is saying something.

========

Here we are today with these results;

Sep 2, 2026, 03:48 PM

I am appealing the decision on the SAFE-T claim on order # 114-3592091-3391423. The item sent to the buyer was brand new in shrink wrap, value of $83.03. What I received back was not anywhere near that condition: shrink wrap had been removed, it had been opened, apparently used and had damage to the front cover and bottom corners. This is not a minimal amount of damage to a new book, as it has dropped the value by more than half. I am asking for at least the full 50% restocking fee .

Amazon Services SAFE-T Program

=================

The bottom line is we sold an item for 87 dollars which a customer used and then sent back. Amazon reimbursed the customer 87.00 and reimbursed us us $13.00 of that 87. We took a loss of 53.00 for doing business on Amazon. I don't understand. Is Amazon a charity for the world and sellers pay the bills for the charity? What to do?

Is there a moderator who can help on this. I, for some reason, believe that Amazon should be fair and give us the full allotted (per policy) 50% on this return. Anyone else think so. That would mean we lost only 43.50 on this sale instead of 74.00.

1. Moderator: Please help

2. Other sellers please tell us what you think. what you did when this happened to you. What your result were with Amazon Restocking Fee policy. How much was your loss or gain?

Thank you.
