I have officially joined the Amazon 1 percenters club. This is when Amazon releases less than 1 percent of your reserve for disbursement from the Estimated DD+7+account health program.
As I watch my reserve grow and grow to over 2100.00, Amazon released 21.00 dollars today. 24.00 the day before and a whopping 8.21 the previous day. These disbursements do not even cover Amazon postage for their own customers. Let alone, trying to buy new inventory with 2100.00 dollars held in reserve waiting to slow drip home. Amazon should understand as soon as I pay postage I make a commitment to that customer from the beginning to the end of the transaction. HELLO
We have a listing that received a 1-star review from a customer. The customer's order is over a month old. They bought the wrong item and want a return. They asked us to call them, but we did not. We sent them a message through Amazon's internal messaging system to ask about the issue and try to resolve it, but the customer did not reply with specific details. Then they left a 1-star review. The review says: 'Doesn't fit and no good customer service. I would like a refund.' This is not a review of the product itself — it's about our service and the customer wanting a refund. Does this violate Amazon's review policy? Can we request that Amazon remove this negative review? Thank you!
We got a 1 star review recently, after that our conversion hurt. PPC is not working with profitability because of that review, although no text review posted only 1 star rating, but our average rating below 4. here our concern is should we continue PPC with current budget or should we lower the daily budget to get profitability or at least BEP.
And how to get more positive reviews faster? so average rating will above 4.5
recommendations are appreciated.
How do I deduct a restocking fee for only 1 of 2 items returned? The customer returned 2 pieces stating they bought the wrong item. 1 item is damaged and the other item is fine. I entered the information and photos for the damaged piece, deducted the restocking fee. The system won't let me continue because there is no issue with the 2nd piece. It there a way to accomplish this?
Subject: Escalation Request — Untraceable 1-Star Rating Propagating Across Entire ASIN Variation Family
Hello Amazon Seller Support,
I am requesting an investigation and escalation to the appropriate Customer Reviews / Community Guidelines / Review Integrity team regarding an unexplained 1-star rating that is affecting multiple child ASINs within the same Veluve product variation family.
The affected product family includes Veluve Skin Reset Mist, including the Serenity Petals variation and the other variations associated with this listing.
Issue Identified
A 1-star rating is currently being included in the overall star-rating calculation and is negatively affecting the rating displayed across multiple variations in this product family.
We investigated the affected variations individually. ASINS: B0GSS5QK6M, B0GSS3V5SZ, B0GSS8VKDJ
For each variation checked, Amazon displays the same underlying issue:
A 1-star rating is included in the rating distribution;
Filtering Customer Reviews to “1 star only” returns “0 matching customer reviews”;
There is no visible customer review associated with the 1-star rating;
There is no reviewer name;
There is no review text;
There is no review date;
There is no visible Amazon Verified Purchase designation; and
There is no individual review available for us to report through Amazon's normal Report abuse process.
We have also reviewed our available order records and have been unable to identify a corresponding transaction that explains the rating.
Rating Appears to Be Propagating Across the Variation Family
This is particularly concerning because the unexplained rating is not isolated to the Serenity Petals child ASIN.
We checked the other variations within the product family and found the same result. The 1-star rating is affecting the ratings displayed across the variation family, while none of the variations checked provides an identifiable 1-star customer review that can be inspected or reported.
Therefore, we respectfully request that Amazon investigate the source of the underlying rating and its propagation/aggregation across the variation family, rather than treating this request as a complaint concerning an ordinary negative customer review.
We understand that Amazon permits customers to leave star-only ratings without written reviews. We are not requesting removal merely because the rating is negative.
Our concern is that an untraceable rating is materially affecting multiple ASINs, while Seller Central and the customer-facing review interface provide no mechanism for us to determine its origin or report it for investigation.
Requested Internal Investigation
Please have the appropriate Amazon team verify internally:
Which exact ASIN originally received the 1-star rating.
Whether the rating was submitted directly against one of the child ASINs or is being aggregated/propagated through the parent-child variation relationship.
Whether the rating is associated with an Amazon Verified Purchase or other eligible customer interaction.
Whether the underlying rating originated from the Amazon.com US marketplace or another Amazon marketplace and was subsequently aggregated into the US rating.
Whether the rating is associated with an identifiable Amazon customer account and whether Amazon's review-integrity systems have validated the rating as legitimate.
Whether the rating complies with Amazon's Community Guidelines and customer review/rating policies.
Whether the rating is being correctly attributed across the affected child ASINs under Amazon's current variation and review-sharing policies.
Whether any catalog, variation, review aggregation, or synchronization error is causing an otherwise unrelated rating to affect these ASINs.
Requested Resolution
If Amazon determines that the 1-star rating:
cannot be validated as an eligible customer rating;
originated from an unrelated ASIN;
is being incorrectly propagated across this variation family;
resulted from an improper variation or catalog association;
constitutes rating manipulation or other abusive activity;
violates Amazon's Community Guidelines; or
is otherwise ineligible to be included in the product family's rating calculation,
we respectfully request that Amazon remove the rating from the affected ASIN(s) and recalculate the product family's customer rating accordingly.
If the rating is determined to be legitimate and properly associated with this product family, please confirm that Amazon has internally verified the source and eligibility of the rating, even if customer privacy policies prevent disclosure of the customer's identity.
Supporting Evidence
We are providing a screenshot demonstrating that Amazon currently counts the 1-star rating in the product's rating distribution, while selecting the “1 star only” filter produces:
“0 matching customer reviews”
The same condition was identified when checking the other affected variations.
Because there is no visible review associated with the rating, we cannot use Amazon's normal Report abuse functionality. This is why we are requesting an internal review and escalation through Seller Support.
Please do not close this case solely on the basis that star-only ratings are permitted. We acknowledge that they are permitted.
The specific issue requiring investigation is the origin, eligibility, and variation-family propagation of this unidentified 1-star rating across multiple child ASINs.
Please escalate the case to the team capable of reviewing the underlying rating record and variation-level rating attribution.
Thank you.
Dear Amazon Community Help,
I am writing to seek help to request the removal of a 1-star product review left on our product page (ASIN: B0FSYHMP1W)
The review text states:
"Lovely product however, the packaging for delivery or lack of it has disappointed me greatly. The product is in a lovely box and just has a delivery sticker slapped on it. This has now ruined the box and unable to forward on this gift."
Reason for Removal Request:
This review directly violates the Amazon Customer Community Guidelines regarding What's Not Allowed. The customer explicitly praises the intrinsic quality of the product itself ("Lovely product", "product is in a lovely box"), but assigns a 1-star rating based entirely and exclusively on fulfillment logistics and delivery packaging (the placement of a shipping label directly onto the gift box).
According to Amazon's official Customer Community Guidelines:
"We don't allow reviews or questions and answers that focus on: Sellers and the customer service they provide... Shipping and packaging... Shipping cost and speed."
Furthermore, the guidelines state:
"Community content is meant to help customers learn about the product itself, not someone's individual experience ordering it."
Because this order was Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA), the shipping method and placement of the delivery sticker fall entirely under Amazon Logistics' responsibility, not the manufacturer's product quality. Keeping this logistics complaint on the product page misleads future buyers about the physical merit of the item.
I very much hope that Amazon can remove this non-compliant 1-star review to protect the integrity of the ASIN's product catalog data. I have opened 2 cases before this and clicked report twice under the 1 star review but no action has been taken on Amazon's side.
Please assist me on how to go about this issue.
Our ASIN received a 1 star review without verified purchase, and the item in the review image is not our product. And after we checked the profile of this person, we found she wrote 2 similar 1 star review on 2 different ASINS in simialr words and using the same picture. One review is verified purchase and the other review is not verified purchase. This is unfair malicious review attack behaviour.

We contacted selle support for help. But we were told to report this malicious action. We did this time over time. But the malicious review is still there. This is very unfair to us. We believe all the evidence we provided could prove this is malicous attack. Hope Amazon could help to stop this behaviour and take immediate action to handle it. Thank you
In just 1 night, the balance turned negative.
What has happened?
Please help me for my businees AS SOON.

We are one of the sellers on multi seller listings and one of the sellers has changed the listings from pack of 1 to pack of 3. This obviously has caused a lot of trouble as we have stock at FBA and customers are getting 1 pk. We are not sure which seller changed the listings but I am sure that Amazon can review the changes and find out. We report the abuse of the policy and got a reply with in seconds that no abuse was noticed which is incorrect. Has anyone gone through this? Here is the complaint id 21482678771 if any of the moderators can help @Seller_8hQgfj6OVZYse@Seller_lmwzklfLOK2Ob
Hello,
I am an FBA seller.
I recently received a 1-star review from a customer. The customer stated that they could not contact the seller and therefore gave the product a 1-star rating.
However, this product is fulfilled by Amazon (FBA). Amazon handles customer service, returns, and communication for FBA orders.
The review does not appear to be about the product itself. It is about customer service, which is managed by Amazon for FBA orders.
Could someone please explain why this review remains on the product page? Is this review eligible for removal under Amazon's Community Guidelines?
Thank you for your help.
