Amazon replied

Hi guys!

I was checking my inventory and I see less quantity that received (minus sells, reserve, vine, etc) I have lost about 130 packages. All shipments were received accordingly, but, what happened to theses packages? What do I have to do? support is not helping that much.

Hi Amazon Community Team,

I’ve reported a 2-star Vine review on one of our product listings that contains several violations of Amazon’s Community Guidelines and Vine Voice policies, including:

❌ False product claims (e.g., misrepresenting materials and cleaning process)

❌ Inaccurate technical statements

❌ A pricing/value comment, which is not allowed under Vine policy

I’ve submitted multiple reports through the “Report Abuse” button over the past four weeks, and also emailed community-help@amazon.com several times — but I’ve received no response from the Community team.

I then submitted the case twice through the official contact form here: https://www.amazon.com/hz/contact-us. Each time, I received a message saying I would get a reply within 6 hours, but it has now been over 6 business days with no update.

I’m just looking to have this review escalated to the moderation team for proper evaluation based on policy violations.

I’m happy to share the ASIN privately if needed. Thank you in advance for your help!

Thanks for your reply — I completely understand that honest, diverse customer opinions are essential and welcome them on all of my listings.

However, this review contains factual inaccuracies, not just a difference in opinion. My concern is not with criticism, but with the objective misinformation that may mislead future customers and violate Community Guidelines.

Specifically:

- Claims the product is fully stainless steel — when the listing clearly states only the top tray is

- States the tray “cannot be cleaned” — which is untrue and misleading

- Comments on price/value — which is a direct violation of Vine review policy

I would be grateful if this could be re-reviewed by the moderation team for policy violations, not opinion alone.

Thank you again for your time and support.

Hello,

I am a seller on Amazon.co.jp (Japan).

I’m posting here because the following issue has remained unresolved for over four months despite multiple attempts through Amazon Japan Seller Support.

I would like this matter to be escalated to the global technical team.

[Issue Details]

  • ASIN: B0C3LX2L6P
  • Although customers have submitted reviews for this product, none of the review text appears on the product detail page
  • About half of these reviews are from the Amazon Vine program
  • The star ratings are displayed, but the review content remains invisible to customers

[Response from Japan Support]

  • First contact was made on December 11, 2024 (Case ID: 2925547533)
  • I followed up several times, but received only automated replies without any concrete investigation or resolution
  • The support team acknowledged that the reviews are not in violation of policy, and indicated that this may be a system-related issue

[Request]

This appears to be a technical problem on Amazon’s side that cannot be resolved by the Japan support team.

I kindly request that this issue be escalated to Amazon’s global catalog and customer review technical team for investigation and correction.

Please see the screenshot showing that although the ASIN has 12 customer ratings (including Vine), it shows "0 customer reviews" publicly.

This clearly indicates a display bug. I hope this helps clarify the issue.

Thanks so much for your response Xander.

As requested, I’ve attached the screenshot of the 2-star Vine review from user Zenzuki, which I believe violates Amazon’s Community Guidelines and Vine Voice policies.

Key concerns with the review:

🔹 False materials claim – States that the product is “misleadingly labeled” as stainless steel. In reality, the listing clearly specifies that only the top tray is stainless steel, and the rest is BPA-free plastic.

🔹 Misleading cleaning statement – Claims the tray cannot be cleaned. In fact, it can be rinsed and wiped, as described in the listing. Only full submersion is not advised due to integrated electronics.

🔹 Technical misrepresentation – Criticizes the integrated pump design (which follows standard safety and industry best practices) as being “awkward,” which is subjective but factually misleading in context.

🔹 Pricing judgment – “At $89.95, I don’t think it’s worth the money.” This directly violates Vine policy, as Vine reviewers receive the product for free and are not permitted to comment on price or value-for-money.

These statements mislead future buyers, may contribute to a damaged customer experience, and inaccurately represent the product’s materials and design, despite the listing being clear.

I’ve reported this via the “Report Abuse” button multiple times and followed up via email with community-help@amazon.com, but have not yet received a resolution.

I appreciate your help reviewing this and would be grateful if it could be escalated to the appropriate moderation team for manual review.

Hello,

We are desperate for help. We launched a new product in March that is sold in a bundle. The product is plastic wrapped/sealed in a set of 3. They also are correctly labeled with 'THIS IS A SET DO NO SEPARATE' stickers that are huge. We sent in 5 boxes, with 56 units each. When the inventory was initially checked into the facility centers there were no discrepancys on the units. 1-2 days later fulfillment center AVP1 listed to have 93 units instead of the 56 original sets. This immediately let me know the units had been tampered with and torn apart. During the mist of this we put the product into the vine program. Amazon sent majority of our vine reviewers ONE product instead of the THREE that come in the bundled set. The vine reviewers were VERY UPSET and left awful reviews. There is a vast and obvious difference between the customers that received 1 product opposed to the 3! We've contacted Amazon multiple times on this issue and put in many case logs. Nobody seems to care. We just want to try and move forward in anyway possible. Initially Amazon acknowledged the problem and said they would remove the reviews, fix the units, and reimburse us, but we have not heard anything for WEEKS. Almost a month now. At this point we just want the reviews removed so we can have our fair honest shot. Small brands/businesses have enough hurdles. We feel helpless. We cant understand how something like this happened. Especially when the bundles are plastic wrapped and correctly labeled. The STICKER IS HUGE! You literally have to rip the bundle/plastic apart.

These reviews violate community guidelines as they are about fulfillment issues.

Please help us, we feel defeated and not heard.

Your best Advertising hack for amazon
by Seller_EIvjZFMoS70AU

I primarily use Sponsored Products ads where I pay per click, but I totally ignore the suggested click prices and start at below half the suggested prices. I let it run for a few weeks to see which ones have the higher or lower ROAS and then make changes accordingly. In my opinion, anything with a ROAS less than four is just spending money to get it back. Focus on the keywords that provide the highest ROAS.

I only use coupons when I am looking to liquidate a product. Amazon charges a 60-cent fee for each coupon, so if I wanted to give $2 off, it actually costs $2.60, so I do this sparingly. I would consider using coupons to promote a new product, but I have had Amazon deny this due to a lack of existing sales, which makes no sense.

I have used Vine on a few product launches, but the results have been minimally helpful. You may end up with a few reviews, but you totally lose the whole value of the products you give away. You pay all the shipping, still give Amazon their payment of what they would have gotten if it were a paid sale, and pay Amazon a $70 to $200 fee on top of it. Ideally, a coupon would be more effective, but as I said, I had previously been denied coupons on new products. On average, I got seven reviews for every 10 products I gave away.

Overall, provide a quality product, work on building good descriptions, adding A+ content, maybe a few videos and do your best to ensure you describe the product well so you have less returns. And, with respect to returns, most of my bad reviews have been the result of people getting items that had been previously returned. If you opt to have Amazon evaluate and place a returned product back into stock, Amazon often just dumps the contents of what was returned to them, into a plastic bag, and ships it off to the next customer. That is a bad experience just waiting to happen. I have changed my returns to have the products liquidated or returned to me, but not to be resent to customers. My bad reviews have almost disappeared since then.

I hope this helped. Best of luck as well.

As a revived new (relaunched )seller, who failed the first go around. My advice is simple:

Do not expect to make money immediate. Only send in limited quantities to start. You can also send more with a day or two and typically items are checked in within a week.

Remember, Amazon (FBA) make their money before WE Do. Focus on getting attention to your product.

This means going through VINE, getting reviews and always communicating with your buyers.

Just cause your selling does not mean you're making money, keep tight reigns on your inventory (storage costs, fees and more) plus your advertising. Unfortunately, you need to spend to get the listing to the top.

Offer volume discounts and if you can afford a coupon code give it.

Most importantly remember payout is kept in reserve and anything above that less expenses is yours.

Now that we have shared our insight ... pleas send us our gift card !

Hey everyone,

I’m an FBA seller and recently enrolled my product in the Amazon Vine program. I paid the $200 enrollment fee and supplied 30 units, expecting to get honest feedback and reviews from Vine testers.

But here’s the issue — only 4 reviews came in before Amazon slapped the listing with this message (see attached image):

“Amazon has noticed unusual reviewing activity on this product... We have limited verified purchase reviews.”

Wait... what? That’s the entire purpose of Vine — to have people review the product! So why is Amazon blocking reviews that I literally paid for and gave away units for?

This feels incredibly frustrating and like a complete waste of money and inventory.

Has anyone else run into this issue? Is there a fix or way to escalate it?

I would love to hear about your experience or any advice you have.
