    If you've seen a notification about the INFORM Consumers Act on your Account Health page or in your email, here's what you need to know.

    What is it?

    The INFORM Consumers Act is a federal law requiring online marketplaces like Amazon to verify business information from high-volume third-party sellers. It applies to you if, in any 12-month period over the past 24 months, you've sold 200+ new or unused products AND earned $5,000 or more in gross revenue.

    What do I need to submit?

    Amazon must verify 5 things. You can complete all of these in Settings > Account Info:

    • Identity: Government-issued photo ID and a bank or credit card statement
    • Bank account: Upload a bank statement under Payment Information > Deposit Methods. The account holder name must match what's in Seller Central
    • Phone number: Confirm your number under Business Information, then verify with a one-time PIN
    • Business address: Confirm or update your address. Amazon may send a postcard with a verification code (5 to 7 business days)
    • Tax information: Review and submit your tax ID and documents under Tax Information

    What if I don't complete it?

    If you don't respond within 10 days of notification, Amazon may hold your disbursements. Continued non-compliance could lead to temporary account deactivation.

    How do I check my status?

    Visit your Account Health page. Look for:

    ✅ Green check: Verified, no action needed

    🔗 Circle with link: Action required, click to start

    ⏳ In Progress: Submitted and under review

    ⚪ Greyed out: No action needed right now

    Once a year, you'll also be asked to certify your information is still accurate. Respond promptly to avoid any disruption.

    Hi,

    My listing previously had approximately 30 reviews and an overall rating of around 4.7 stars. At that time, approximately 26–27 of the reviews were Vine reviews.

    Over time, approximately 6–7 of my previous Vine reviews disappeared, and my Vine review count is now only 20. My total number of ratings/reviews is currently 30.

    Also, there are few low star rating appears suddenly without any written comments. The recent low ratings are particularly concerning because some are 1-star and 2-star ratings with no written comments. Since there is no written feedback, I cannot determine whether these customers experienced a problem with the product, fulfillment, delivery, or something else.

    There was also an FBA fulfillment issue around the same period. After my inventory was sold out and my new batch reached Amazon's fulfillment network, approximately 45 units were sold, but some orders were not dispatched for approximately two weeks. a few customers also cancelled their orders during this period.

    In addition, I received a direct customer complaint through seller's feedback, "don't buy from this merchant, never received the product." I did not report this complaint to Amazon. Amazon independently handled the issue and indicated that it was an FBA matter that Amazon would deal with.

    This makes me concerned that some of the recent low ratings may potentially be related to fulfillment or delivery problems rather than the actual product. However, because those ratings contain no written comments, I cannot determine the reason for them.

    My written product feedback has otherwise been overwhelmingly positive. I already contacted seller support, but they ask me to contact community-help@amazon.com . I contacted them 2 weeks ago, I don't get any response. my vine reviews keep on disappearing which lead my rating to 3.9 . My sales completely stopped. I don't know how to solve this.

    I am reaching out for urgent assistance regarding a seller hijacking my listing.

    A Chinese seller ("HAOXIN SHOP") is currently counterfeiting our product on our ASIN. Because our USPTO trademark is currently in a pending status, Brand Registry denied our IP infringement claim.

    To address this, I performed a test buy and submitted a report via Account Health -> Report Abuse.

    Complaint ID: 20420826351

    Issue: The test buy clearly shows that the product sold by "HAOXIN SHOP" is counterfeit and does not match our ASIN listing (photos were attached to the complaint).

    It has been almost a week since I filed this complaint, and no action has been taken. This hijacker is actively selling fake products to our customers, which puts us at an immediate risk of receiving negative reviews that could destroy our business.

    Could you please look into Complaint ID: 20420826351 and help us remove this unauthorized seller?

    I am having an issue where the brand name under the title is now showing the incorrect brand (It has somehow changed).

    On Asin B07PV1M3GN, the brand under the title was somehow changed to "Holster", which is what the product is not the brand...

    Interestingly, the "Fix a product brand" self-service workflow and edit item details page are still confirming the correct brand name, which is "Fury Strike".

    Can someone please help fix this issue so the correct brand is displayed under the title.

    We sell seeds and all our products are under $10 which allows us to use the USPS Standard mail Envelope shipping method. This is stamped mail and isn't tracked. it seems my only options in Amazon Buy Shipping is UPS or USPS shipping label for around $6. This isn't cost effective and we really can't pass the shipping cost onto the buyer.

    Is there a way to ship using stamps and still be claims protected?
