Since Amazon Robotics was founded in 2012, we’ve developed, produced, and deployed more than 750,000 robots across our operations network.
The goal of robotics technology within our operations is simple: pair employees with the right technology to make their workday safer, easier, and more productive—while helping us deliver packages to customers faster than ever.
We’ve taken robotics technology to the next level with the launch of our state-of-the-art fulfillment center in Shreveport, Louisiana. Equipped with the latest innovations, this site uses eight different robotics systems that work in harmony to support package fulfillment and delivery.
Additionally, these robots use Amazon Web Services cloud computing technology to operate more efficiently by storing and processing rich data generated by sensors, cameras, and machine processes. We plan to scale these robotics systems to existing facilities across the network.

DO YOU THINK WE REALLY CARE ABOUT YOUR ROBOTS AMAZON AS YOU ARE STEALING HAND OVER FIST FROM YOUR 3P SELLERS INVENTORY - HOW ABOUT LOOKING AT YOUR PROCESSES AND DETERMINING WHY THIS IS HAPPENING IN THE FIRST PLACE. YOU ARE STEALING HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS OF PRODUCTS FROM 3P SELLERS AND WE ARE BEYOND SICK OF IT. THIS IS AN OUTRAGE AND YOU OUGHT TO BE SUED BEYOND BELIEF. SENT 64 ITEMS, YOU CHECKED IN 1 AND CLOSED THE SHIPMENT. SENT 203 ITEMS, YOU CHECKED IN 165 AND CLOSED THE SHIPMENT. SENT 148 ITEMS, YOU CHECKED IN 95 AND CLOSED THE SHIPMENT. THESE 3 ARE WITHIN 2 WEEKS - NOT EVEN INCLUDING ALL THE OTHERS OF THE MONTH THAT WERE SHORTED. YOU HAVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR YEARS. THE GOVERNMENT, IRS, AND FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION ARE GOING TO HEAR FROM ME ON THIS MATTER BECAUSE THIS IS FLAT OUT STEALING AND AN OUTRAGE. FIX YOUR PROCESS!!!!!! YOU DEMAND ALL 3P SELLERS JUMP THRU YOUR STUPID POLICIES AND HOOPS - HOW ABOUT YOU DO THE SAME FOR US......YOUR SUPPOSED PARTNERS. YOU MAKE ME SICK.
What's your point?
How about focusing on fixing on some of the issues that we are all being faced, dealing with Amazon?
Fantastic news! 750,000 American jobs cut! Very excited for the dystopian future!
Unable to come up with any good ideas of their own. except for how to take more money from sellers.
In March 2012, Amazon.com acquired Kiva Systems a USA Based Corporation for US$775 million. At the time, this was Amazon's second-largest acquisition in its history.[9]

when will you invent a robot that can do simple counting? Or one that doesn't relabel our inventory incorrectly and without reason?
and when the robots have no clue b/c the programmers don't either - is that the excuse for the posts on the forums for lost/damaged and general F-ups??
Are we supposed to care? The software which this marketplace runs upon, is trash. How about spend some cash on hiring actual humans, and treat your sellers with respect.... Post like this, are the antithesis of respect and admiration for sellers who break their backs to make a living off amazon. But, this is not the future.. the future of amazon is the Tar-get or Wal-mart of the internet.. all name brand items, high volume... no small sellers.. no independent sellers... its done.
Yes, we are aware amazon is a private enterprise... so was Microsoft, it was broken up for anti trust and monopoly... If you want to do biz on the internet, which is ubiquitous, you have to do it w amazon.. or pound sand. lose your biz.. Amazon takes 15% of each sale, and as a private seller, we do all the work.. amazon simply sells us PPC ads just to be seen.. whatever.
Youd think all the robots could rotate expirable inventory first in first out
Wheh, that's a relief. I thought when your Anti-Trust, Regulatory-Capture, Warehouses of Lawyers-n-Lobbyists Shiteshow of a Corporation finally killed our business, that I'd have to go work in your warehouses, or fill P-bottles as one of your dangerous delivery drivers. What a relief to know I can go straight to the streets. Thank you, Amazon!
It's also nice to know that even though Jeff B is no longer running the show, his sociopathic imprint on Amazon has not faded with time. I'm not saying you shouldn't automate ... I'm saying you shouldn't expect us to get excited about your profits-over-people-(particularly-sellers) attitude, even though you're all happy about rolling around in dough (>$300K average salary for managerial staff) while you choke out those that got you here.
