Amazon FEDEX Agreemnt is To Deny All Customer claims
Below is What was received when a claim needed to be filed with FEDEX for an item they destroyed and then for an item they show no delivery on. All the shipoing services had been bought thru Amazon which they state is to protect you from claims. But i Got A to Z claims filed against me which Amazon granted even as it shows the carrier damaged or none delivered. Then a claim with FEDEX says the below that the agreement with Amazon is to waive all claims
Hello FedEx Customer,
We value your business, and your satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us.
After review, we are unable to approve your claim. According to the contract between the shipper or payor of transportation charges and FedEx, the shipper/payor agreed to waive the rights to file claims resulting from damage, loss ,mis-delivery, or non-delivery. Based on this contract we restrict claims from being filed.
We value your business and maintain the terms and conditions outlined in the contract with the shipper/payor. If you have any additional concerns with this matter, you should contact the shipper/payor.

Wouldve heard more about this if this were the case all the time. There might be another way to file a claim if you dont have a fed ex account but use amazon buy shipping. We do not have a UPS account yet we can still file claims, we just have to go about it slightly different then the normal claim process since we are using amazons account.

Did you file a SAFE-T Claim? You should be able to file a SAFE-T claim on it if you purchased the label through Amazon and there is proof that it was delivered (ie customer confirms that it wasn't).

seems to confirm what I've always assumed with amazon and ups also.. they just take another item from my inventory at FBA and send it for free instead of filing a claim.. this maybe why amazon gets " Deeply discounted rates "

You have no recourse if you use their FedEx account.
Best way is to use your own FedEx account, link it to the Buy Shipping program, and boom - protection plus post order protection.

I have been in ecommerce for 25 years now, what I can categorically say is that using FEDEX as a shipping company was one of the worst mistakes I have made in a while, this is a company designed to defraud the customer, full of phantom charges and their "bait and switch" strategy is already known worldwide, it is the most dishonest thing, do not think that choosing them as the cheapest is the "cheapest" it is simply a deception.

Sue FedEx, its easy to do in small claims court, fairly cheap & expensive for them to fight. Even if you know you're going to lose, if you're in the right, sue. If enough people do it these large companies will have to do a cost-benefit analysis on whether they want to continue fighting all these small legal battles or just change their policies.
Courts are too concerned over precedent these days & not giving a remedy to people who were wronged. Stuff should be more situational & we change that by changing culture. If you were wronged then sue, don't get a lawyer because you'll likely be wasting money if you do. Instead go in, present your case & explain how they wronged you. By doing so, you'll be wasting their time, they'll have to send a lawyer or representative to court to argue against your claim & odds are they get paid a lot more hourly then you do.
Fact is the shipping carrier was entrusted with your items, they lost or damaged your stuff making it unsellable for the buyer. They should be liable for the damage they caused regardless of their agreement with Amazon, it was your stuff not Amazon's. So sue FedEx, if they don't want to make things right, then waste their time & money.

Hello @Seller_55n0oODsPYQO1
Thank you for posting your inquiry to the Forums.
I understand that you opened a claim with FedEx for an order that you shipped via Amazon Buy Shipping. In this case, did you open a case with Amazon Seller Support for this order? Please feel free to provide the case ID number to this thread and I can review the correspondence already provided on the case.
Regards,

Amazon FedEx denies all claims and Amazon UPS will make insane adjustments to the correct dims and rebill you at a higher rate. If you file a Safe-T Claim, you are reimbursed pennies on the dollar. No matter what you do, you lose with Buy Shipping.
