Read onlyI meet issue when complete my tax interview. When I insert my company name and EIN number, Amazon said my name an EIN number does not match IRS record.
"The Name and Tax ID provided do not match IRS records. Please review your previous inputs and ensure the "Name" line is the correct name associated with the Tax ID provided. You should complete the tax information for the individual or business that will report the income on a U.S. income tax return. If you are completing the tax interview on behalf of a single member LLC, generally the owner’s Name and Tax ID would be provided."
I checked and tried multiple times, I'm sure I provided correct information. I also called IRS confirmed all information and spelling, IRS told me the information is correct and it is in their database. I record the conversation and can prove my EIN number is accurate
I opened multiple cases. all feedback is similar, they just told me the tax information does not match IRS record and let me confirm the input is correct. I tried all the methods and no idea what should I do now.
Is it possible for me to upload tax information via case or Amazon bakcend? Anyon can help me?
Pls give me any advice or help, I would be super appreciated!
Best regards!!
Did you CREATE your seller account with that name you put now on your tax interview?
Hi @Seller_RY37jLVKj8m97
Only seller support can assist with the incorrect EIN if that is a possibility. Did you make sure the spelling is 1:1? Even a capital letter on IRS's end can impact the verification on our end.
Also, if you have any of the support case IDs related to this, feel free to share them here so that I can take a closer look.
Best,
Connor
