A-Z Claim for item not received

Hoping someone from Amazon can lend an assist. Order 113-1738522-8874653 was claimed to not have been received by customer. I advised they reach out to Amazon to file a claim and although it was protected (bought shipping through Amazon, automated handling, etc...), they told the customer tough luck as it shows it being delivered so the customer naturally filed for a return with me direct. Shouldn't Amazon have "owned" this issue?

i would let the buyer know that only Amazon can refund the money ;)

Then mark subsequent communications as "no response necessary".

If Amazon told them to pound sand, they must be a habitual abuser. DO NOT REFUND.

If it was shipped via usps, I would file a missing package inquiry with them, just to get them on USPS's radar as well.
