Amazon Damages Health Score for Lower Sales
Really fed up with how they do this and ready to file a complaint with the better business bureau. Within just one day the health account score nose dived 10 whole points in grade just because there were lower sales volume in the previous 180 days. So what!!! Total idiocy, Everything is at 100% perfect on ODT and valid tracking, no open violations etc. no chargebacks etc etc..........yet they stupidly grade businesses and sellers so heavily over something as trivial as sales volume fluctuating. That's infuriating, and legally they should not be allowed to do it this way. I wouldn't complain over two or three point drop, but 10!!! And yet there is no way to dispute it the agent said. This mess has to change on here. They can not grade that heavily for something that naturally fluctuates, there's something not right about all of this.

That score IS heavily influenced by recent sales volume, so if your sales slow down, you should expect the score to move with it.
That is not Amazon “damaging” your account. It is the metric doing what it was designed to do.
And more importantly, anything above 200 is considered healthy.
So if your actual Account Health is clean, your OTD/VTR metrics are strong, you have no policy violations, and your score is still above 200, why are you worried about this?
It does not mean your account is in trouble.
It does not mean Amazon is penalizing you.
It does not mean your listings are being suppressed.
It is a health/risk indicator, and sales velocity is part of the calculation.
If sales drop, the score can drop.
That is not a legal issue or something the BBB is going to fix. I would spend the energy on increasing sales instead of fighting a score that is still in the healthy range.

I can understand your frustration nork but don't let it get to your mind and hamstring you if you are still healthy!
Please check out my thread on amazon deleting lifetime feedback as they are doing it again - I've lost 19 in just 3 days!
YOUR INCREDIBLY SHRINKING LIFETIME FEEDBACK TOTAL? !

It is a score driven by sales, of course its going to drop if your sales drop.
If your healthy move on and worry about things that matter!
