Notification of Restricted Products Removal - Organic Claims

ID 16884163431

We received the following message from Amazon yesterday:

"This product has been identified to include organic claims. Products that are sold, labeled or represented as "organic" in the United States must be certified to either the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) organic regulations or to an international standard that the USDA has named as equivalent. It is against Amazon policy to sell products that make organic claims without proper certification. We believe that the required USDA organic certification is not in place for this product."

However, we are a certified organic operation that has all of our certificates in place. We provided these certificates to Amazon and they keep responding with the same cut-and-paste response above.

Publicly, anybody can see that we are USDA Organic Certified by going to the USDA Organic Integrity Database

Any idea what Amazon is looking for specifically?

Today we received this message from another Amazon department concerning the same ASIN above:

"We have recently restricted listings for the product(s) listed below on Amazon.com.

Please initiate a removal request for the ASIN(s) referenced below to have your inventory sent to a location of your choosing. If this inventory is not removed within 30 days of this notification (by 01/19/2025), we may dispose of it in accordance with FBA policies."

I'd like to get this issue resolved before Amazon disposes of all our inventory. We also have shipments of this ASIN scheduled for pickup this week.

Received the same message again after uploading our certification documents, product label, and USDA proof of certification.

Any mods that can help?

Hi there @Seller_wWZnDNtnZ3OtM,

I've reached out internally to escalate your appeal. In general Amazon won't share why documents are or are not accepted, however I will do what I can to get additional details. Thank you for your understanding.
